Can't wait to return
We had a wonderful experience and were sad to leave this beautiful place. All personnel were kind and responsive to us during the entire time. We would rate a 5 star except for 2 things. It was difficult to get an 'american' meal. Yes the varieties were good and the Italian was suburb. The international offered a variety but a good hamb was hard to come by. The room service was also pretty minimal in the b'fast offerings. Housekeeping was very lax. Several times we had to call for 'room pick up'. which was a bit annoying however the rooms were nice and clean. Loved the swim up capability!

Short drive from hotel
SAn Jose was a very safe and short bus ride (just outside the hotel). AS in all vacation there were multiple stores with a variety of souvenirs. Note that the beach is teeming with locals selling a variety of goods. Do not be fooled by what the insist is 'silver' and the bargaining is outrageous.

Beautiful Los Cabos
The Barcelo Los Cabos was a delightful surprise. More like a five star than a four star resort. The food and drink were excellent (and we have high standards!). The resort staff were extremely attentive and the cleanliness was obvious. The food in the speciality restaurants was delicious and beautifully presented, especially the Spanish restaurant. We had a great six days at the Barcelo and would not hesitate to return.

Fabulous Honeymoon!
My husband and I traveled to Barcelo for our honeymoon in May 2012. We had never been out of the U.S. and were quite pleased with our stay. The hotel is spectacular and very clean. The staff were very helfpul and friendly. Our room was immaculate with gorgeous views of the multiple swimming pools and the ocean! The food at the restaurants was very good; the buffets not quite so spectacular, but pretty good. The ocean was frigid and the beaches were pretty bare except for the locals. We took a free Scuba diving class and rode horses on the beach at sunset. We really enjoyed our trip and cannot wait to go back!

Great anniversary getaway
My husband and I spent our 15 year wedding anniversary at Barcelo and we had the best vacation ever. We have been to Cabo before, along with Cancun, Jamaica, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Rocky Point, and Rosarita...but this hotel and trip was by far the greatest we have stayed at. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The food was spectacular. The rooms were top of the line. Great job Barcelo!!!!

WONDEFUL VACATION!!!
We had the most amazing time here! The Barcelo exceeded our expectations, it was truly amazing. everything about it was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough to help with our every need, the rooms were so clean & fridges stocked daily, even Asprin & Alka Setlzer!! We couldn't believe how beautifully kept it was & when we had a massage at the spa there, wow!!! Its well worth every penny. we have travelled all around the world & would go back to this hotel in a minute! The food was the best All Inclusive we have ever had, & when they say, All Inclusive, they really mean it~ Absolutley amazing~

Anniversary getaway
We had a very nice stay at Barcelo. The resort is gorgeous. The room was comfortable and very modern. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Lunch and dinner buffet can be a bit similar. I would recommend trying the Hacienda for a change of pace for lunch buffet. I wish we could have tried more restaurants. Since we only stayed one-night, we could only make one reservation at a specialty restaurant.

Honeymoonin
Honeymoon at Barcelo
We just returned from our honeymoon at Barcelo Los Cabo Palace Deluxe and had a wonderful time. We originally booked a non-ocean view room but emailed ahead to tell Barcelo it was our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a Ocean View Room in the Fragata Building on floor 6. It was a great room that overlooked the main pool and had a great view of the ocean. We upgraded to Club Premium for $35 USD per person per night. I thought it was worth it. It allows you to go to the a la carte dinners every night, gives you free room service, free wifi (a little spotty), and some other amenities. The dinners were clutch since the buffet food gets repetitive towards the end of the trip. The location is good if you are ok with hanging out at the hotel most of the time (which we enjoyed). We went kayaking one day near the arch which was great. Overall great hotel!

Very nice for destination wedding!
Very nice! Beach was the only dissappointing part of it. Very sharp sand, hard to walk on and water was rough! I thought there should be more spots to sit in the evening and listen to music, have a dance, etc. Very limited entertainment after dinner.

Tos Santos - shopping and lunch was great. Lunch at Tequilla Sunrise across from Hotel California was excellent and waitors were very entertaining!
