This is one of the nicest properties on the west coast. Elegant Hotels owns other accomodations in Barbados but this is one of their best. The staff is great and being limited to 88 rooms makes it more quaint and managable. We were able to get aquainted with many of the other guests, making for a wonderful time.
The all inclusive food is decent, but some of the selection is limited. If you are staying for longer than a week, you will see repetition of their menu. Overall, if you were to replace the food at local eateries, you'd be paying much more.
You will love the watersports available! Many are included in the price and Yellowfin Watersports team will arrange other custom tours as well.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel Oct 9-14. The rooms were nicely appointed with a very comfortable king size bed. Housekeeping was on top of the sand we would helplessly still bring into the room everyday from the beach, as it was cleaned up when we returned from lunch each day.
Food was good to great for the most part at both restaurants. The fresh grilled fish at both restaurants were excellent. Service at the restaurants was better at Drifters then Reflections.
The front desk was clueless on activities at the resort and even activities they booked for you at the Activities desk. We were told by the person who booked our tour that the van that pulled up in front of our hotel lobby was our tour, when in fact it was not. We found this out 20 minutes later when it took us to a place not on our itinerary. Check-in and check-out were completely efficiently and with a smile though.
Water sports equipment was hard to come by. The water sports operators would not allow use of sailboats hobbycats and water sking unless the water was completely calm.
All and all a nice place that doesn't feel overcrowded.

Beautiful, but super overpriced.

The hotel has a beautiful lounge area, and great umbrellas/chairs on the beach which gives the impression of a super nice hotel. However, sitting on the beach you get significant pressure from the people who run the complimentary beach services to do the pay sports such as jet skiing. The biggest problem is there are two different guys vying and battling for your money. Also there are people who come by and try to sell you jewelry and paintings. And the rooms are not as nice as we expected for the price and number of stars.
If you are not on the meal plan (we weren't) the food is very expensive. Every meal is at least 25-50 US dollars and there are no cheaper food options at the hotel. On the plus side the complimentary champagne buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening canapes are really good and you can skip a meal here or there.
We did not rent a car because we were not comfortable driving on the left side of the road. When we got there the drivers were rather aggressive and the roads narrow so we were glad we did not rent a car. However, there are very few places you can get from the hotel that's walking distance. There's a gas station where you can buy snacks, And 1 or 2 hotels you can walk to. We felt a little trapped.
Recommend doing some sort of tour/private tour/jet ski tour to snorkel with sea turtles and over the sunken barge (our favorite part). We also enjoyed Harrison's Cave (although not as nice as Carlsbad Caves) and an Island Safari tour.
The best part of the hotel is for no extra charge you can have a romantic dinner planned on the beach, you just need to reserve one of the two tables they set out on the beach. Also all the ambassadors and people working at the hotel are very nice, our favorite ambassador was Andrew, he really made you feel at home and would try really hard to book the tour/dinner reservation with no notice for the same day.

This place was wonderful from start to finish. Booked it for a 10 year anniversary. We relaxed, were pampered by the staff, ate, drank and were merry. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute and would return in a heart beat.

You get what you pay for, the place was decent, not a 5 star hotel but not a 1. I went with some friends to have a good time, the hotel served as a good "base camp", and it served well. Beautiful snorkeling about 500 ft to the north of the hotel.

Great Rooms, Good Access to Beach

My only beef is the cable-TV service. The remote was broken. I asked for a replacement--and got another bad remote--after almost a day of complaining and going to the reception desk to complain. The cable service was very infrequent--night time was the worst. The screen simply had a life and temperament of its own--flickering on and off. I was particularly upset about the cable service because I had to remain indoors for over 2 days--American Airlines did not have my luggage, so I was still in my travel clothes (winter clothes!!!) half way through my stay. The hotel staff was professional, courteous and kind. They actually bought a shirt for me to wear in Barbados pending the arrival of my luggage.

Very nice staff, other than the new furniture and wall art not much change since rebadging as an Elegant Hotel. Good breakfast buffet. Great beach staff. Recommend Orvie for watersports, very soft sell. Pet peeve charging for wifi.

The dining area is in the patio. There are lots of birds and they come to eat from the spoons and spillovers!! The staff use the same spoon to mix food items!! I didn't eat anything from the buffet. I ate only those items like yogurts and straight from kitchen. Bird poops were present on the chairs. Apart from that hotel is good. Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. If you like nice scenery and sun bathing, this is a good choice.

the treasure beach hotel is a great place to saty for couples ,not sure about children, apart from the beach and other facilities there ,im not sure its for children....the accomodation is great..you have a separate living area ,bedroom and bathroom,(with separate shower and bath)..maid service twice a day .it has a nice living area which doubles as kitchen ..its a nice place to relax with a drink in the evening .the only problem i had is with the restuarant ,dont get me wrong there is nothing wrong with is ,but boy is it expensive for what you get,.i didnt have the food plan ,so im not sure if that would be value for money or not .also there is a dress code for the restuarant after 7.30pm (long dress pants and shirt with colar)..i personally want to come on vacation to relax ,since i wear suits all week for work that didnt go down to well with me ....what we ended up doing is to go into Holetown pick up some supplies and make sandwiches etc for the day and go into town in the evening for drinks and food. beware that barbados is expensive anyway or at least seems that way to me ,but good budgeting you should have a wonderful holiday/vaction in the treasure beach hotel and barbados .

This place is great. I expected people more my age but there was a lot of older married couples. Go to the otter resorts if you are looking for some younger faces. I know this is an adults only resort but web I went to the other resorts, I really didn't notice the kids.

There are many very positive reviews written about this condo and the all proved to be true. The rooms are clean and adequately equipped, the service is prompt. The location of the hotel is somewhat away from the beach, but if you mind walking, rent a car.

We would highly recommend Beach view, staff were very helpful, had a great time meeting other guests at the manager's cocktails. Can easily get a bus from right outside the hotel into Bridgetown. The accommodation was spacious and very smart and clean, with all you would ever need.

The staff at this hotel were great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a room with a pool view but it was still very private! The meals were good. And the service was excellent. The only problem we had was the air conditioning, my husband never seemed to get it quite cold enough for him but for me it was fine. The view on the beach is nice and the resort is within walking distance to shopping, God's Acre" and the Sunday night karaoke party at One Love Bar (which is a must to check out.) . Mango bay also has plenty to do in the resort too. The catamaran Cruise to swim with the turtles was awesome and it is included!! where most other resorts it is an additional cost. All around I would say we had a great time. And will be back.

Very nice hotel, service was friendly. Advanced warning - in the off season (May-October), there is no concierge on duty, so the front desk folks try to help you with reservations, etc. They are not very good at it! But otherwise, very nice for families and couples.

My boyfriend and I went to Barbados for a short weekend. We went mainly for the beaches and snorkeling.
The hotel is a great value for what it is.
It is: Clean, quiet, comfortable.
It isn't: A place to have a good meal. A place to have a good drink. Right in the middle of everything.
If you're looking to make your own vacation. Its great. If you're looking to hang near the hotel - look elsewhere.
If you're sharing beds..you may want to inquire. Our unit had two beds pushed together. Easy to "fall into the crack". Not good.

Good budget alt to West Coast resorts

I was in for a friend's wedding in June 2010 (off season) and extended my stay to about a week to explore the island. All Seasons is a nice budget alternative to the expensive West Coast resorts and a short 10-min walk to the public beaches. They provide you with a member card good for discounts to local eateries/shops within walking distance. The front desk staff was very friendly and could answer any question thrown at them (kudos especially to [...] during the daytime).Suites were clean and comfortable. Suites consist of bedroom, living/dining area, and kitchenette furnished with pots/pans/plates. Air conditioning works by key contact card attached to your room key, but in the bedroom only. As much as I tried, fans in living room could not pull in cool bedroom air. Shower pressure was mediocre and no washcloths were provided, just towels. Beds were firm but very comfortable. Off-street parking space is provided behind your unit if you rent a car. Security is basic - sliding glass door secured by a Master Lock. Resort is set within quiet residential neighborhood, so this was fine with me, but if this concerns you, a safe for your valuables is available in the bedroom for a nominal fee per day.All Seasons reminded me a little of Motel 6, but with better furnishings and a kitchenette. An excellent option for the budget traveler / couple that needs only basic accommodations. After all, you're in Barbados, how long will you spend at the hotel with so much to explore on the island?

Eating at the casual restaurant breakfast and lunch is a disaster. Always get your order wrong. Staff feed the birds. birds jump on table and eat your food. Instead of staff feeding the birds to keep around they should put up netting like Crystal Cove so you are not attacked by birds at meals and your food becomes unsanitary! Staff LAUGHED when birds threw our food on the floor and more arrived eating; did not offer replacement food!

**Sep to Dec 17, 2011 Enhancement and maintenance projects taking place through mid December 2011. Management will systematically close wings of the hotel to conduct in room and back of house upgrades along with replacement of roofing. Although the majority of this work will not be guest facing, there will be scaffolding erected during the closure of some wings to provide access to the roof. The current schedule relating to closure of these wings is as follows:

Paid all inclusive but didn't receive it

Staff not trained in solving problems...we paid all inclusive but were given room only....we spent 1st 2 days complaining on phone which cost us money and time we should have been on beach. We escalated the problem till finally we had the Ops Manager give us 2 meals a day from the 2nd week but no drinks or lunch. The holiday cost us a fortune in additional expenses for meals and drinks and no-one cared, least of all the MD in the UK and the Indian call centres just didnt undertsand us.Nightmare start to holiday.Some staff helped but no process to help is in place.
