The waters around Barbados are some of the most transparent in the Caribbean.  For sports on dry land, visitors can enjoy a cricket match at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown.

Rum and rum drinks are featured at every bar, with perhaps the most famous domestic brand offered being Mount Gay rum. Tours of the distillery are available on weekdays for a modest fee and offer samples of many rum varieties.
