The Hotel rooms were clean, the location was unbeatable, and after talking to friends that stayed at other resorts the fact that it was all inclusive probably saves you some money in the long run. Overall it was a good experience at this Hotel and we would surely stay there again.

The staff are the most friendliest I have ever met, they will do anything they can to help you. They are not doing it for tips as you do not need to tip them. If you do decide to tip they will thank you the very next time they see you. The food is amazing I am a VERY picker eater and at the end of our 5 night stay I was sick of eating as I had ate so much... there is food for everyone and it is of the highest quality. The hotel is great.... very clean and beautiful. The beach is a mere walk from the hotel back entrance down some steps and you are on the glorious beach. Literally a 2 min journey from your room! We went at Christmas time and they made it special by having a delicious Christmas dinner for us. The entertainment was hit or miss on each night, possibly due to the Christmas season. That would be the only thing that was not great..... but it did not put a damper on our vacation. The only complaint I would have is that our stay came to and end I really would have not had an issue with staying another few weeks...... or more!

This hotel is amazing! I would definitely go back. I think for the price of the room, the room could be better. However, the treatment and amenities blow this out of the water! I got to the hotel and had issues with my bank card and could not make outbound calls on the pay phone. The Blackberry network had crash and my cell phone was not working. I needed to call back to the US to get my debit card situation straightened out. For some reason it was not swiping.... (One thing to note is they need a hefty hold on your credit card or debit card so make sure you account for this) The concierge took their time to help me make the phone calls and get everything straightened out. I wish the front desk would have been this accomodating or directed me to the concierge. The lady at the baggage claim helped me to locate them. They even upgraded my room to a water view because I had such a negative experience during check in. Staff is always extremely nice and friendly (always greeting you).....Except maybe the bartenders in the club Aura, they were rude. They made sure you felt like a tourist! I was a little disappointed in the Mesa Grilll (Bobby Flay's restaurant) I thought the price was expensive for the average quality of food. The aquariums, waters slides, beaches, pools, and spa are definitely worth checking out. Loved the spa experience, so worth it! I also had lunch one day at the Reef pool and thought the food was expensive, but not that great. I do recommend Carmine's, that was an amazing and well priced meal for several people! Everything is family style. I also thought a hotel of this scale would offer a shuttle, as taxis are pricey to and from the airport for one person.

Loved It!

We found the entire staff of Atlantis to be outstanding. We did have a problem with the water going out and they quickly gave us another room to shower in. The resort is expensive but worth it if you are going to travel to Paradise Island. Lots to do for all ages. The food is not that good for the cost but we found some lower price alternatives. Starbucks was great for breakfast, pool side bars were good for lunches and the Casino bar and Johnny Rockets were decent alternatives to the pricer places for dinner. We traveled with four kids ages 16-20.

Great Family Getaway

We enjoyed the waterslides, lazy river, the pools and casino. The lines were short and easy access to the waterslides. The pools were plentiful and resort very attractive. Beautiful Holiday decorations at time of our visit in Dec. We were told the restaurants and food would be expensive. Even though we were prepared for it we were still surprised at how expensive it was. An example: At an outdoor snack bar by the pool 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and 2 sodas were $26.00. There are options to interact with sealions or dolphins. We chose the sealions and it was a great experience. However, our reservation booking included the cost for 2 people to interact with sealions. There were 3 in our party so we paid for the third individual with was $89. If we had paid for all 3 instead of 1, I think it would be too much money for that experience. Overall, a great experience for my family.

A fun place for families

Harborside resort at Atlantis provides villas that make you feel at home. Spacious and you can cook for meals which will save you a ton of money! I would have preferred to stay at one of the towers(Royal Tower, Coral Tower or Beach Tower) which are closer to the beach. You can walk to the beach from those towers. You can walk from the Harborside to any location at Atlantis as well, however, because of the heat you will want to take the free shuttle in stead. The shuttles run every 10 min and very convenient. If the vacation is a short one you may want to stay in one of the Towers.

A really lovely experience

This is the second time we've stayed at the Cove-- as usual, it was a great experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the location is beautiful, and the room is lovely. It might be a bit pricey (somehow we racked up a healthy bar and food bill-- and the phone charges are insane) and the music by the Cove pool a little loud, but overall, it is a beautiful vacation spot.

Honeymoon at The Cove - Atlantis

Beautiful hotel with oceans views. I really like the upscale Cove since it has a private pool area next to the beach. My only gripe is that everything is over priced from the food to the drinks. The Mosaic buffet was $67 per person, $27 for kids, the food looked great, but not for this price. We packed a separate suit case and filled it with snacks, water, wine, etc. It's a good thing we did because that saved us hundreds of dollars. The water slides were awesome and for the most part, 80% of the staff were very polite. Oh, there's a 15% gratuity tacked on to everything!

Wonderful 3 day weekend

  • null
  • Oct 5, 2011
We just returned on Oct. 3rd and had a great relaxing weekend. It was my wife and I only. The resort was only about 1/2 occupied and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We stayed in a garden room view. The room was great except the shower was a standard bathtub with curtain and the view was nothing great, but who cares. I can walk over and sit on the chairs facing the ocean or lay in a hammock by the ocean and save a few $100 each night. The staff was wonderful. Food is expensive (but exceptional) my wife and I split breakfast each morning and split a couple of lunches as well. They leave you a fruit basket each day in the room and we brought some other snacks with us. Complimentary transportation is provided to Atlantis. Pick up the complementary coffee in the main building each morning and save the $8 the restaurant cahrges for coffee.

Great, Beautiful hotel. Beaches are great and not crowded. Hotel provides you with your own personal butler. Not a place for larger families with kids.
