The apartments are ideally located

The apartments are ideally located in the middle of town as well as adjacent to the beach. The hotel impressed us as being one of the best along the Ocean Rd (and there appears to be very few of this calibre). Lorne is also an ideal base with great facilities.

The Coachman Inn is adjacent to

The Coachman Inn is adjacent to a caravan site, on the edge of the town - just within walking distance. The accommodation is motel style, with reasonable facilities. During our stay, the service was friendly and helpful.

Situated in the centre of Lorne and set between the spectacular Southern Ocean and the rainforests of the Otway Ranges. Cumberland Lorne features extensive resort facilities including a heated indoor swimming pool, fully equipped gymnasium, sauna, spa, tennis and squash courts. All apartments have a queen size bed in the main bedroom, bathroom with corner spa plus laundry facilities, balcony, fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge with DVD player. BISTRO C in Cumberland Plaza caters for all meals,(please phone 03 5289 2455 or contact Resort for trading hours). ENDOTA DAY SPA is located just downstairs in the Cumberland plaza. Guests are welcome to make full use of car parking and our Resort facilities on days of arrival and departure as well as throughout the stay.

My wife, myself and our 5 year

My wife, myself and our 5 year old have stayed twice now in a one bedroom apartment garden view apartment. We have found the room to be excellent, and both times we have stayed have had ocean views. The rooms have been large, with a wonderful spa and a fully appointed kitchen. On the property is an indoor pool (it is very deep though - particularly for younger kids) BBQ area, tennis courts and small gym. The property is also a short stroll to the beach and cafes. We would recommend the Cumberland for those wishing to visit Lorne.

We spent a lovely weekend at the Cumberland. A refurbished 1 bedroom apartment which was very clean and a great ocean view. The young man at reception was more than helpful and very friendly. I would definately stay there again but would love to stay longer next time.
