We were married at Surfair and were returning for our 25th wedding anniversary. Despite indicating that we would be there at 2pm, our room wasn't ready which I thought was poor. The hotel room was small and the shower was tiny.

It is a beautifully laid out resort in a great location - right across the road from the beach! The decor is a little bit tired and the rooms could do with a bit of a spring clean, but otherwise it had everything we needed to have a great family holiday. The only real downfall was that the spa pool was not really heated.... about the temperature of a warm swimming pool so not hot enough for winter. It's a shame cos we would have been in there otherwise!
Can't wait to come back here and see that beautiful pool in summer!

This 'oasis' is a prefect place to rest and relax. Privacy is assured with the rooms being strategically placed so that living rooms are near common walls. We wished we had several more days so that we could enjoy more of the extensive facilities offered.

Great location, excelent facilities but very tired rooms. Beds were atrocious, air conditioning leaks all over the walls and floors and housekeeping standards were appalling. Overall for the price, not worth it but if they updated the rooms and improved housekeeping standards would be a great resort.

Pricing is great for what you get, large apartment for the 1 bedroom we stayed in. Great location, right across from the beach, little supermarket out the front, along with a few cafes/restruants etc. Staff could have paid more attention to cleanliness/service though.

We found the Hotel to be very well located with regard to shops and restaurants, with a very agreeable outlook.
The apartment was very comfortable and provided everything we needed with pool and landscaped gardens being very well maintained.
We will definately put this hotel on our "return to place" whenever we travel to Mooloolaba again.

Excellent Hotel, nice apartment, very convenient location, easy parking and friendly service. Only complaint is that the washing machine/drier is very complicated to use and takes ages.
The view from the rooftop lookout is fantastic.

The girl at reception was lovely and we were allowed into our room early as it was already prepared. The room was clean and, even though there is a bar downstairs and we overlooked the pool area, the room was quiet with the balcony door closed. It is very close to everything and we would stay there again.

Was an excellent location overlooking the beautiful coastline. Handy to Mooloolaba precinct and all beaches, was a tidy apartment with a great pool and spa area. I will be staying there again, plenty of street parking available for visitors! I give it four stars.

I was a bit disappointed with the older style room for the prices charged for one night but it was schoolies week so perhaps a tad inflated. The picture on website doesn't reflect the age of the room we rented for teh evening as it was top grade modern furnishings and we had very worn 80's style furniture and bedcovers in rooms. A letter was placed under the door in the morning offering an extra night at a 3rd of the price which was too late as we had already packed up to check out before finding it. We also had no detergent for wash up but rules implied you were responsible for clean up etc.

84 The Spit Beachfront Apartments are from floors 1 to 3. The Ocean view Apartments are from floors 4 to 9. The apartments are fully self-contained with full kitchen and laundry facilities.Each 2 bedroom apartment has 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite and a Queen bed with 2 single beds in the 2nd bedroom. Some of Mooloolaba apartments may have a different bedding configuration.All apartments are north facing with direct boardwalk and beach access - no roads to cross. The area is quiet with a pleasant stroll via the boardwalk to the Surf Club and the hustle and bustle of the Cafes of the Esplanade.Mooloolaba's beach is unsurpassed and one of the most famous beaches on the Sunshine Coast. A curve of northern facing white sand is surrounded for its entire length by shady parklands, picnic areas and playgrounds.

Be prepared for stairs. did not do homework obviously penthouse nice but really needed a lift for those with dodgy old bones
