The room was very good. Good bed, excellent views (I had a corner room with a view of the bridge and up the river), enough space to be comfortable. The bathroom was clean and very spacious. There are lots of restaurants around, you are right on the river and a short walk from the centre of town.

Facilities in the room were ample and clean. But priced too high. Was there for business and only needed a place to rest, thus the apartment and facilities were excessive for me. Would choose only if I were back for a holiday with a family, but not for business again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Oaks Casino Towers. The location is excellent - opposite a lovely park, high up in the town-- well above the recent flood level. We loved the huge deck on our 1 Bedroom corner apartment-- fantastic for relaxing and entertaining. Even though it was at the back of the building, it had a great view over the river.
Facilities for relaxation and cooking/washing were excellent. Only concern was that the kitchen supplies were somewhat limited-- one small sachet of dishwashing powder for a two day stay. But staff were responsive to our request for more.
Staff were all very helpful with any request.

Front desk staff seem to have multiple tasks and it is not uncommon to see the desk unattended for short periods of time. Slightly weathered in places and the rooms are a little small compared to some hotels, but you get what you pay for. Overall, perfectly located hotel at a reasonable price with good facilities.

Great location for shopping and restaurants with apartments providing views over the Brisbane botanic gardens and river. Stayed in a two bedroom apartment and it was very spacious with a large balcony to take in the city below. Comfortable beds and good sized bathroom plus ensuite in main. Highly recommended.

Stayed at the Aurora when I was in Brisbane on business and absolutely loved it. The one bedroom apartment was beautifully furnished and had a great balcony and view. Only problem is that there's not much to eat around the area in the way of quick and easy, you'll have to go down to a restaurant on Eagle point pier. Would definitely stay there again!

We had a lovely apartment and the staff were friendly and helpful. The apartments are designed for self sufficiency so there is no room service but we were provided with quick action by the maintenance staff when we had a problem with the dvd player.

We would definitely stay here again. The room was clean, comfortable and enormous. It was also very, very quiet - we expected a bit of noise since the hotel is in the middle of the CBD. The location is extremely central and convenient. Highly recommended.

The apartment was beautiful, well set up and with all the facilities you could want in an apartment. Some of the lounge furniture had suspicious stains that made us feel a little uncomfortable. All in all a great apartment, the biggest let down for me was the service received from the staff at check-in. The staff member was abrupt and indifferent and not particularly helpful at all. If I stay there again I hope I get a new staff member.

Right in the middle of the CBD. Clean rooms and good facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reception opens 7am-midnight, so you can get help pretty much whenever you want. The only downside was that it get's a bit noisy at night since there's a pub downstairs. But shouldn't be a problem if you're tired enough to sleep.

I think this is a very good and well located basic hotel if luxury is not your number one priority. The only thing I would say against it is that the communal toilets and showers are very dorm like and not very appealing although cleaned regularly. The staff are very polite and obliging and the beds are comfortable and clean.
