Location fantastic, front desk people unfriendly and quite rude. Can not get a meal or any sought of drink on a Monday or Tuesday. The rooms were clean and well kept. Pricing was pretty good through [website].

My wife and I spent a night in the Oceanview Room with a king bed, spa, and hammock in celebration of her 23rd birthday. We had a perfect stay. The king bed was extremely comfortable, the room was large, clean, and very nice. We especially enjoyed the spa and the hammock on the balcony.
We would both highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, but up a steep hill, so some steep climbing required (better via taxi, car, or hotel shuttle bus!). The hill ensures beautiful views, and the apartment we stayed in was very well appointed. Altogther an excellent hotel; I'd like to stay here again.

I was a little concerned about staying here after reading some other reviews, however we had a group of six people (two rooms) and we all found it to be more than adequate. It was clean and comfortable and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful with several requests. We also ate at the restaurant a couple of times and found it to be very good and there was also entertainment.

The Whitsunday Terraces Resort Airlie Beach is a large apartment complex offering self contained studios, one bedroom suites and interconnecting family suites. Rooms are spacious and clean with large balconies and panoramic views. Guests have the convenience of a wide range of in-room facilities or can take day tours exploring the islands or town.
The rooms at Whitsunday Terraces offer complimentary cable television, private bathroom, handy kitchenettes and separate dining area. Most apartments are newly renovated but all are very spacious, bright and airy. The Whitsunday Terraces Resort complex is terraced so some walking up and down stairs maybe required. If walking uphill is a problem, request a room Waterson Street end of the complex however the view at the top is well worth the exercise!
The pool and spa are extremely inviting and offer a peaceful way to end a fabulous day. The resort also boasts a pool side Mediterranean style restaurant and bar, barbecue facilities, guest laundry, tour desk and complimentary undercover parking.

The apartment was clean and very well presented. The water view was amazing. It is a long walk into town but very scenic along the boardwalk. A cab costs about $10. Very close to the marina so good for day trips to the islands. If you walk in the opposite direction to town you will find THE best chinese restaurant opposite the police station (takes about 15 mins). The staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure you are booked onto the best trips.
We hired a mini moke for half a day, just to get the groceries in but also visited the lookout and a spectacular waterfall about 25k away. Would I go there again? Most definately!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Boathaven. We would definitely stay there again if in Airlie. A little walk to the restaurants and shops at present, although the new hotel complex being built across the road will (when completed by December) have a restaurant and shops on the ground level which will be very handy for residents. The owner (or manageress) was very helpful when we had problems with our mobile phone. Thanks very much!

Wide overhanging eaves and louvered windows throughout allow the cool tropical breeze to flow through your spacious self-contained apartment. Each unit has a balcony or patio overlooking either the pool area or the Conway National Park. The barbeque is next to the large pool and outdoor spa, nestled into a level grassed area creating a calm relaxed atmosphere for you to enjoy and is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and cool fresh-water lily ponds. We are idealy located within walking distance (1.5 kms) of Airlie Beach, only a 20 minute walk from the heart of town but peaceful enough to be miles away. The Whitsunday Transit bus runs past about every 40 minutes and Whitsunday Taxis are also at your service. Within a very short walk is the Jubilee Tavern for cooked breakfasts, lunches and dinner with specials every night. Just across the road is a 7 day IGA supermarket to cater for all your requirements while you stay in your self-contained unit.

It was well situated, with a tavern across the road which served great meals, a shopping centre and IGA located across the road, bus stops at the front, and a pick up point for island boat cruises.

Room needs updating, but beds comfy. Restaurant offers $2 steaks for inhouse guests which was excellent! Only provided with one small shampoo for 4 guests, but hosts happy to provide forgotten item (my son's toothbrush) for no charge. Washing dishes prior to vacating is expected or you will be charged!!!!!! Brochures outdated as lists some things that are not relevant or available any more.

only have one gripe we couldnt get aircon on, turned on every switch we could find had to get receptionist to do it. maybe a few words when we checked in would have solved problem

Beautiful apartment that had a well stocked kitchen but since it was an apartment you could bring in your own food or go out downtown to eat. It had a GREAT view and beautiful pool. The only drawback was that it was at the top of a steep hill, so we took taxis back up the hill. We had a great time. We went on a sunset cruise that was wonderful. We also took a day cruise to the Whitsunday Island which has the most beautiful beach in the world where we swam and had lunch, then off to snorkel on the beautiful Great Barrier Reef. It does't get any better than that!
