This was an excellent hotel with excellent facilities in a stunning location. We booked a Standard Room but were given an upgrade to a Deluxe Room which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay there again.

Incredibly friendly people, incredibly nice rooms, great location for seeing the sites of Central Australia. Super food, lots of food choices on site; professionally run, yet down to earth and friendly. Incredible value for the money. We stayed for five nights and used Lasseter's as our base for exploring Uluru, the McDonnell mountains, etc. All terrific.... would highly recommend this place to anyone. Casino is an added benefit.

Excellent Hotel, really nice room, we had the triple and suited us perfectly. The restraunt downstairs didn't dissapoint, excellent meals, great service and very convenient. Would stay there again with no hesitation.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a bit more expensive than some of the opposition but the location was great and we did not need to hire a car. It was close to all of the in town facilities in Alice Springs, Food, pubs, Shopping Mall, Post Office and Supermarkets. It is a relatively new hotel and is kept reasonably up to tandard. Would be happy to recoomend the Aurora to friends.

酒店离镇中心很近，虽在路边，但是不吵。房间大，但是设施比较陈旧，有两张床，一大一小，适合我们三口之家。价格很合理，如果路过借宿的话，是不错的选择，但是度假的话，就建议其他豪华点的酒店。

An oasis in the outback, the Desert Palms is a 3.5 star property offering individual studio villa accommodation, set around a crystal clear free-form pool with island, waterfall and surrounded by tropical gardens. We're located in the main accommodation centre of Alice Springs on the banks of the Todd River, close to town, Lasseters Casino - Alice Springs entertainment hot spot, the Convention Centre and the Alice Springs Golf Club is our backyard.
Although we do not have a restaurant on the premises for those who would like to dine out, some of Alice Springs best restaurants are within metres of the Desert Palms. These include the Golf Course Club House, Haunmans (Indian/Thai) and Balloons Bistro at the Crowne Plaza and four restaurants at Lasseters Casino including the Juicy Rump.
There is a small kiosk/shop on-site where food items and liquor can be purchased, a guest laundry, BBQ area and secure gated off street parking directly outside each villa.
The Desert Palms offers a calm, peaceful environment, which creates a sense of relief for the often-weary traveller. After a hectic day of travelling by road or air take pleasure in watching the world go by on the privacy of guests own balcony surrounded by palms trees while partaking in a light refreshment.

We stayed here for one night at the beginning of a tour to Uluru/Ayers Rock. The hotel room was huge and quite comfortable but a bit drab. The staff was friendly but the hotel could make a stronger effort to coordinate better with the tour companies, since this is a major jumping off point for such tours. Alice Springs itself has little to offer the tourist. The mall is a short walk from the hotel but it consists of a one-block concentration of shops and restaurants. We were hard-pressed to find things to do other than visiting the Reptile Center (which could be viewed in under an hour). The hotel's restaurant (Barra on Todd) offers excellent food, including kangaroo and several different preparations of barramundi.
