Ritz Carlton family vacation

This was a beautiful property! Surprised at how many steps there was though. Nice staff. Not near enough gift shops/stores on property. Disappointed that the ritz Carlton did not have any shuttles or cars for their customers. Had to use taxi cabs to go everywhere. Didn't expect that. Overall, we did love it and had a great time!

St.Thomas Ritz Carlson

We stayed for a night fore going home after sailing the BVI for a week. I was a great way to re-enter. We really enjoyed our stay but I could not give it the extra star. I have been to many luxury resorts includuding the Ritz Carlson's and it just was not quite not up to the same caliber.

Always Amazing!!!

We discovered this gem about 6 years ago and have been back 4 times. You may say that's boring going to the same place...well soooo not true. It’s the RITZ! The amenities are everything a person could want on vacation. Slip off to a private quiet spot or have great conversations with other guest around the infinity pool and at the bar. These is a PERFECT location to get everywhere you would want to go...St Thomas Red Hook is a 5 min. cab ride to great restaurants or catch the ferry over to St. John to visit some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Great for children!

Had a great time. Staff was extraordinary! Very friendly. Front desk did not do a great job explaining amenities included in resort fee. Only realized on my last day after reading the fine print. Overall a great experience and will be going back :)

St Ritz - so so

The rooms are nice. There was construction and we had to change rooms 3 times. The staff is very pleasant and that was the best thing about this place. The food is very UNDERwhelming. The resort prices are evident in the cost of the food without the quality you would expect from a 5star. Very comparable to chain restaurants and 20 for a burger 10 for chips and salsas. We eat at the resort next door and had better food for half the cost. Expect to pay approx 150-175 for a meal for two with (2 steaks and a side) one appetizer and two mixed drinks. There is a "small print" $70/day resort fee not included in the price.

Never Again at the Ritz

Hotel was under remodeling- Jack Hammers chipping away at tile every day at 7:00 a.m. The constant noise of construction work- No Place to relax.. The lady Lindsey boat for sunset cursing was out for repairs so no available boating. food was nothing special and overall I would rate this as a 5000.00 waste of money. It was by far the worst vacation in 20 years, I should have gone to the other side of the Island. Never Again at the Ritz.

Wonderful vacation!

Great service and staff! Based on previous reviews, I was a little worried but I couldn't ask for a more friendlier and accommodating staff! We were in room 355 and the view was just breathtaking on the very large terrace! Large room with two double beds, large closet, large bathroom with a large tub and separate shower and two sinks with well appointed bath products. Plenty to do for kids and grown ups with all the non-motorized sports (sailing, paddle boarding, peddle boating, snorkeling, wind surfing, canoeing) included in your resort fee. Although food was very expensive it is as well everywhere on the island. Make sure to visit St. John and go visit Trunk Bay with the most amazing beach and the clearest water! My twin girls(16) loved the snorkeling and laying out on the white sand. What a great way to end our summer!
