Best Western PLUS Emerald Beach Resort

The location is wonderful. It's right on the beautiful Emerald Bay Beach That's the reason I selected this hotel and I was not disappointed. The rooms are clean but the staff is very inefficient. (Just sit back and relax - they'll get to you eventually.) On the downside, the food is mediocre and it's kind of far from town, shopping, other restaurants. Taxis are expensive so be prepared. If your goal is to be at the beach as much as possible, this is a great spot. They don't charge for using the beach chairs (which many places do)

Beautiful view from all rooms! This hotel was great and very comfortable. Located close to the airport, but the noise was not a bother. The beach is Beautiful place to stay, there is a bar right on the beach and there are free beach chairs looking at the beach. Everyone there is very laid back, so it didn't feel like the typical vacation experience of people constantly trying to sell you things. It was busy but not overcrowded.The room was nice and clean and the view from the balcony was priceless. The staff were very nice and helpful. Would be 5 stars but the food/service at the hotel restaurant was so-so and very expensive and the hotel did not have a shuttle to and from the airport- it was a $15 ride (for two) for less than a mile away.

The staff is friendly and the rooms are beachfront and nice! The resteraunt food is good! It sucks no jaquozzi and water pressure sucked in shower but good ocerall

somewhat overpriced for stay, should have at least breakfast included at that price. nice beach and okay snorkeling. Front desk people not that helpful or informative about options, etc. unless directly asked. Food expensive at restaurant. would have been nice if small store on property had basic groceries. Also would have been a better overall price if at least a complimentary shuttle into town was provided if breakfast can't be. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bar wokers very friendly and helpful, but a few more itesm could be added to the menu (chicken fingers for example).

My wife and I stayed at the hotel the week of March 10, 2013 for six nights. We enjoyed staying at the hotel. It had a tropical feeling and a beautiful view of the bay. The room was clean and the view from the room was just beautiful. The staff was nice, the food was average. Not crazy about the Caribbean Friday night dinner. Should have more food options. The thing that we enjoyed the most was the beach a few steps away. We would stay here again. We also recommend the hotel.

Spent a long weekend on the beach, enjoying the sun, the sand, and the beautiful blue water. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the view was simple incredible. Don't worry about the airplane noise, rarely noticed it.

Love it there will be back next year! Great beach bar, Breakfast in main dinning room had a nice choice. The beach is awesome and not crowded.

This hotel has a nice beach and the rooms have water views..Disappointed the pool closed early and no hot tub. Also one day the rooms never got cleaned because of staff shortage that day. The hotel is very close to the airport but never had any issues with loud plane noises.

I liked the hotel location near the airport but of course far from city. The beach is nice and clean. BUT water was cut off for hours and I was half in soap when that happened and ended up getting cold. Rude staff even in on site resturant. Paid a lot of money in trip and got little. Would never go to St Thomas again!! There are better, cheaper and visitor friendly places than there.

Even though its a bit close to the airport, you really cant tell.. The foliage, pool, lagoon setting...Were all amazing! Good folks at the desk as well...I travel on Business to St Thomas (believe it or not)...it is where I will stay from now on.
