Best Western Carib Beach Resort

Overall everything was good with the hotel. Very close to the airport but a $14 cab ride from everything else!

Staff was wonderful. Room views were great. Location to airport was awesome. The room was nice and clean and we loved the private balcony over looking the water. Restaurant did not serve lunch and you had to go to the airport to access a money mover for cash as there was not one on site. There was also no gift shop on site which would have been nice. Transportation to and from the sister hotel was provided at no cost.

Our family of 3 stayed in the Best Western Carib Beach Resort for 5 nights while vacationing in St Thomas. Though we had to wait about 30 minutes for our room to be ready, Shaune at the front desk was very professional, friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms on the top floor. The room itself was quite nice, beds were comfy, and the view was picture perfect; I could have spent an entire day sitting on the terrace just watching the planes taking off and patrons driving WaveRunners in the bay. This hotel is literally right next door to the airport but we were not at all disturbed by the planes. We visited Fajita's for breakfast once and although it was convenient and the food was good, the service was not the greatest. Getting clean towels seemed to be an issue because there were a couple of days where we got towels literally right out of the dryer and one day when we did not get any towels at all until we asked for some. Also we stayed there during a time that they were re-laying part of the brick walkway, so the for the first couple of days we were walking over a thin piece of plywood to get to and from our room, which was a safety hazard. But beyond the few minimal issues we encountered, I would definitely recommend staying here. A resort it is not, but it is a nice hotel with amenities.

The hotel was not the greatest but the staff's attitude and williness to go out of their way to assist us was well worth the stay. The hotel would definately be much more appealing if it had a workout room. We mostly used the hotel to sleep.

While the room that we stayed in had a malfunctioning phone and safe (apparently undergoing repairs), our friends got a good room with modern bath fittings. Location is great and I think it's good for what you pay for.

The hotel is right across the street from the airport. We did not see a beach at this location. There was very little in walking distance. Our reason for using this site was due to its proximity to the airport as a stepping stone for our travel to Tortola and the BVI. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. There was a free shuttle to the sister site on the other side of the inlet. We were able to walk from the airport to the hotel. It is about a 10 minute walk.

This hotel was very clean! I think it was a good value for the price. The game room was a broken pool table and a dart board. Beach was man made but nice to look at the sea in the morning. This hotel worked out great for us because everyday we were touring the island. If you are looking for a place to sleep and relax, this would be it. The staff was very friendly and always had a smile. The food and drinks was over priced but so is the whole island.

Nothing fancy but clean, nice staff, walked here from airport when we got in, great bar staff who made our first Bushwacker and we never found one better than his!!!

Four of us stayed at this hotel on our way back from the BVI's. We chose the hotel because of its location - close to the airport. We were able to walk five minutes to the airport the next day. Very convenient. We were able to stay the afternoon after check out and put our luggage in a locked room prior to our flight leaving. Nicky at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. She was very helpful with fixing a mistake made in the booking process and saved us from paying for an extra room that we didn't need. The hotel is clean. We had a room with a balcony looking over the bay, which was beautiful. The pool area looks over the bay and there is a small beach that you can lounge in chairs at or swim from. The landscaping around the premises was beautiful. We enjoyed the friendly staff and food at the Mexican restaurant on the premises. The only downside was the fact that there were cigarette butts in the small beach area. It felt like we were lounging in an ashtray. It is a no smoking hotel but there were people smoking and no one paying attention to where they were smoking as there is only one designated smoking area. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place to be if you need a lay-over in St. Thomas.
