Anniversary trip with parents
The hotel was very good for my wife and I. My parents were celebrating their 50th anniversary in St. Thomas and my wife and I joined them. We needed a hotel that was more reasonably priced than where my parents stayed and the Carib Beach resort worked out well. Our room was clean and even though it wasn't fancy, it met all our needs. No beach but not a far walk (or they had a shuttle to a sister property)

Use the jitney system for travel around the island. Most locations are a $1 cost. They can get you to the local places to eat.

Convenient location
Location near the airport was great, but the staff was inconsistent . Had to take a shuttle to get to the sister hotel for food, but the shuttles only ran on the hour and they were rigid on this even when 12 of us needed a lift to the other hotel. Room was comfortable and clean and I had a great view even in a garden room. If looking for a great value this is good hotel.

Airport Hotel with Good Value
We stayed only one night and chose this hotel for it's location which was right next to the airport. Literally it is a 5 minutes walk up an incline from the arrival lounge, so no need for a taxi. The room is small, but the a/c worked fine and there was a small flat screen TV attached to the wall facing the bed (hubbie was happy). Internet was free in the lobby and the staff was nice. Our stay was too short to comment further, but we did accidentally leave our laptop charger in the room. We called the next day and they found it and saved it for us to retrieve. All in all good value.

Acceptable but not great
The room was clean and very average. The grounds were okay. The pool small and nothing really ever seemed open. We used the free shuttle to the Emerald Beach sister resort and enjoyed their grounds and beach much better. We had a nice view from our balcony. I think the price was decent for what we got. Also we walked to and from airport since it's so incredibly close. I highly recommend walking instead of getting a cab.

Highly recommend Paradise Point Sky Ride and restaurant. We had dinner and drinks at the restaurant. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset and nice night.

should have been 60$ not 115$ like I paid. Stafff was great but room needed some work. Ok. But had better stays.

Not terrible but won't stay again
The rooms were clean. They were lacking on service the cleaning people would Show to clean the room just after 1100 am which was great. But the down side They would take the towels and your left without towels until 400-500 pm when ever they finished washing. We were told to get a shuttle DON'T this motel is across the Steet from the airport about a block and a half. Desk clerks and wait staff was very friendly and helpful the other staff was not as pleasant to say the least.

Long walk from hotel
Plan on getting a car but you should reserve. There is alot to do tour taxis are real expensive. I would suggest a tour then a car for your own exploration.

Bargain Hunters Beware!!
1.) If you have allergies stay somewhere else...there is standing water in the north hall way 3/29/11! Told the front desk about it and still there this morning 3/30/11. 2.) Fajita is a joke for a restarunt...obvious that it is a last resort resort! 3.) Only positive I can say is it is the closest hotel to the airport. That said I will consider the furthest hotel before coming back to another "online good deal!!!"
