Great Property

The Westin is a Great Property just a bit pricey. I stayed in the off season and it was still expensive. The staff could be a bit more responsive as well.

Great Resort, Great Island

St John is such a peaceful and amazing place to visit. The Westin has a great property, very tranquil beach. The beach is man made but so many great beaches are on the island that it is worth exploring the others that are natural. Food is pricey every where on the island but it is definitely worthwhile to hop a cab in to town to try some of the great restaurants down town or even rent a jeep. You can even hit a local grocery store and get snacks and sandwich staples to bring to the beaches. Great pool. Chloe and Bernards has great food. The villas are also nice (my Mom owns a time share at this westin) and I have now stayed with her in them in addition to the hotel section of the property. Loved it and will return!

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Rent a Jeep for the day or your entire stay and enjoy all the amazing beaches and snorkeling. Great beach for family is Trunk Bay. There is a fee for this beach as it does have life guards, an underwater snorkeling trail and great amenities. $16 fr a family so if you go a just 2 times during your trip it is cheaper.
