Divi Carina All Inclusive Beach Resort

The staff at the hotel are very friendly but slow and inefficient. The food was adequate and tasty for the most part. We stayed 5 nights but entertainment was only during 2 nights of the stay. No activity at all during the days. The room was spacious and clean but the bathroom floor was covered with stains. The location is in a beautiful setting but far away from everything on the island and requires to either rent a car or use taxis if interested to experience the island.

Wonderful experience at the Divi. The staff was friendly, and accommodating, The Food was Delicious, the virgin Mango drink was our favorite. Being a few feet from the beach and having the pool was great. the NIghtly entertainment at the hotel was fabulous, the dancers, the musicians, all great. and the service to and from the Casino, and to and from Town was exceptional.,. We definitely recommend staying at the DIVI Carina..

The people working at the Divi were so warm and friendly and went out of their way to help us with any needs we had. 14 went in our group for my sons destination wedding. We had a great time there, it is beautiful. Cozy cotttage beachy feeling with a great view of ocean. Tasty foods, caring wait staff. Fun to have the casino right there too. Make sure to book your ride to the airport the day before so you will have a cab there in time. You are at least 30 minutes from the airport.

My daughter and I just returned from the Divi, we had a wonderful time. The food was to die for; we really enjoyed our dinners. Breakfast was your typical buffet and lunch was pretty good. Our only complaint was the beach because it’s really not swimable. It is filled with seaweed and rocks. Not sure what happened to their beach but it was not a pretty site. However, if you are able to venture out you will find some of the most beautiful beaches.

Divi Hotel is conveniently located 30 minutes away from the airport. It is a very clean, welcoming and children friendly hotel/resort. The food is delicious and the drinks are made according to your liking. The staff is there to please and accommodate to your every need. The beach water is clear and beautiful. However, you do get a lot of seaweed that wash on shore. Kirk the bartender is amazing! DO NOT book on a major holiday weekend because most tourist attractions are closed. It's in your best interest to rent a car because the island is small and easy to navigate from point A to point B.

I had been a travel agent for about 25 years and have traveled the world and this was by far the worst experience ever. Choose this hotel because of the All Inclusive. Location was nice but the hotel rooms were disgusting. Beds smelled of smoke. Plaster coming down throughout the property. Hair had been left in the shower walls from previous party.The power went out for several hours in the morning and had no hot water for approx. 24 hours. I could go on and on but I think you could probably get my drift.

This was truly a wonderful vacation. The rooms were clean and very big.The beds were comfortable. The hotel was far from being old or run down but needed a little maintenance here and there. The location was perfect right on the beach. The food was excellent and there was a good variety of choices. There was entertainment most of which was good. The staff were hard working and mostly polite and friendly except for one particular manager who could have been more respectful to the staff and the guests. I would recommend renting a car, we drove ourselves and had no problems with anyone anywhere on the island. i would suggest signing up for the earlier reservations for dinners on the weekly agenda as things can get a little behind. Some guests were impatient and a little rude about the wait. You definitely needed island time attitude. The women in the gift shop helped us w/ reservations for snorkeling buck Island reef. The guy who does the snorkel trip of the beach hotel was too busy talking about himself to set up a time it was a little weird. I cant wait to go back. Thanks DiVi

The staff was fantastic, super friendly, and we made plenty of friends. The food was delicious, especially the lobster. It probably could have had a little more variety of food choices. There are only 2 places to eat, despite the website saying 4 restaurants. The pizza shack and the casino are more like snack places. The location of the resort was perfect: right on the beach, reef right off the beach to snorkel, and on the quit side of the island. The room was another story. Although the room view was perfect, the decor needs to be updated and they deserately need new matresses (much more firm). I have pinch nerve problems, but was fine before I got there. I had to sleep on the floor my entire vacation because the matress left me locked up in my neck and back. I have needed several chiropractic adjustments since I've been home because of it. Until they get better matresses, unfortanately we will not come back to this resort. We did inform management several times and of this and upon checkout.

all was great---except the management---I changed rooms 4 times in 7 days---air conditioning problems---instead of fixing them they just sent you to another room----I should have moved more but I gave up---All the workers were great and friendly

The resort is a bit worn and showing its age. On the first morning of the stay there were power issues involving a loss of more than 4 hours. However, the general manager compensated me my food and beverage tab which was more than fair. The beach was nice and well groomed every day of my stay.
