Spring Break getaway
This was the very first time I planned a Spring Break getaway completely online and we couldn't be any happier with the outcomes. The hotel and its staff made this an unforgetable experience. We definately hope to return in the future. The children had a blast and can not stop talking about their trip. We were especially impressed with the cleanliness of the beach along with its privacy. This is definately a place to enjoy and relax all in a family setting!

Don't expect too much
There was a kitchen but 3 light in the entire room. No bowls for cereal, no sharp knives for cutting, etc. The staff didn't seem to care. But it was the best hotel on that beach and maybe the best around. Just don't expect too much. The beach was not fine sand. Under water was grass and not sand. The pictures look good but reality was something else. There was no one else on the beach during our stay in January. Why?

pictures of the hotel on the internet
only thing i can say is when you look at the pictures on the internet of the rooms you will be fooled in to thinking you are getting something you are not. i saw one photo of a room with a bedroom up stairs and when i clicked on the one of the two choices thinking that one was the room it turned out to be a suite, they told me at the hotel the one i saw was a penthouse, yet no where on the page can you rent it.don't know if it is the hotels fault or [...]but they need to check there photos before putting them on.

SOLITUDE!!!!
WE ARRIVED A WEEK AFTER EASTER AND THE BEACH WAS EMPTY. THE LOCATION IS REMOTE, SO WE TOOKCABS TO THE TOURIST AREA OF TOWN. THE RESTURANT WAS BETTER THAN THE HIGHLY RATED ONES IN TOWN. DON'T CALL A STUDIO A SUITE, AND OUR UNIT WAS NOT NEWLY DECORATED THIS IS AN AVERAGE STUDIO THAT WAS CLEAN.

Loved it, bought it!
This was such a perfect vacation spot for my husband and myself we bought a condo unit there! So obviously we will return. We loved being able to get up in the am, and eat a liesurly breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. Very laid back and quiet environment. Beach is very private, but you still get the activity of watching the sailboats, seaplanes, and people riding horses in the water. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer questions about life on St. Croix.

Dining is expensive. At Club St Croix we had a fully equiped kitchen and were able to save alot by eating breakfast and a few other meals in our own unit.

Good Value
Peaceful, quiet, relaxing, and uncrowded beach. The sand needed to be cleaned (shells, rocks, and sea weed, and butts!). I've seen cleaner beaches, but the quiet serenity made up for the clutter. Great place to sit and read a book or snooze in the shade! The staff was friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant "Breezez" was tremendous!!! They went out of their way to pleeze us. The prices were fair for the islands. Many locals dine there...what's that tell you? Sunday brunch was to die for!

If you're coming to St Croix to eat cheap food, don't come! The food is a bit pricey, but extremely good. There are no large cattle ranches there, so it helps if you like sea food! Visit the mid-west if you want great beef!

A very quiet place to stay
If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, don't stay here. If you want peace and quiet and just a place to relax, stay here. First of all, we arrived late in the evening and the office closes a 6:00pm. By time we got to the hotel it wad 10:30. Our taxi driver told us that the security guard ussally gives you the keys to your room for late check ins but we couln't find him. I walked up to the reception area and my name was on a list for late check in. The instructions said to call an extention fron the phone on the desk. A very nice lady (I think she lived there) came out a gave me the keys to our room and said to check-in in the morning. Very easy once you knew what to do. The room was, well ok. We had the junior suite and there was plenty of room. The room was very clean but you could tell it was a little older. The bath room most definately needed inprovements but still clean. The view from the room was absolutley beautiful. Palm trees, the beach and the ocean right there. One strange thing about this place that I have never heard of is that at check in, they give you a TV remote and the air conditioner remote and you have to give them back when you check out. One thing to consider is that these are also residental condos as well as a hotel. There is one pack of coffee in the room and thats all you get for your stay. So if you are a coffee drinker, go buy some. I went to the coke machine every morning to get some caffine since I never made it to a store. They say up don't get maid service or more towels and if you want this, it cost extra. Our maid came about every other day to clean, make the bed and replace the towels. You need to go to the front desk to get beach towels and you will charged $20 if you lose them. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. They gave suggestions on what to do, called cabs for us and even called around for a rental car for us. This was a last minute trip and there were no rental cars available on the island at all. I think because it was the Holiday week end. I would highly suggest to get a rental car. The town of Christiansted is a short cab ride way. About $8 for two people. The beach is very peaceful. At any given time there were only about 4 people on the beach. The clean the beach of sea plants every morning but later in the day, more wash up on the beach. I wanted a peaceful, qiet, relaxing vacation and that is exactly what I got. I do wish we could get a car so we could do a little more site seeing. Over all, good place to stay to do nothing but relax.

Unbeatable location for the price
we had the pool and beach to ourselves. in four days, we saw only (6)people, two people on our beach, and only four pass us as we were leaving the pool for the evening. the room/ condo had everything a person would need. very clean, grounds were well groomed and maintenance staff were very friendly.if you like sun and unobstructed views, it's perfect!

read the map and know your location. roads have a tendency to all blend together. when we stayed, sundown was at about six and most roads are not lit.
