Noisy

In spite of every efforts made to renovate the rooms, this hotel remains an rickety colonial building in the heart of the boardwalk area peppered with bars. Great if you're in a party mood, but not if you need to sleep. Not to mention the roosters outside your window who will make sure you wake up at 5AM.

Downtown Christenstead

Alexander Hamilton's homeplace dead center of Christenstead. It's old and a little funky, but the rooms are fresh and clean and it has the first in ground pool in the virgin islands. It's a wonderful 250 year old town. The people are friendly and fabulous.

club comanche st croix

I stayed with my girlfriend in the jr suit with a king size bed. It was awesome. No it is not a brand new building like i am used to in minneapolis mn but it was had gorgeous dark wood floor that maids mop everyday to keep clean. they dont change your sheets everyday like a hilton but they save energy and water by skipping a day. yes they dont change them between people. the staff are very friendly and there is a guy named [...] and he is 10 times more of a help and nicer then any hilton or ramada employee ive ever talked to. the hotel is located a block down from the ocean and center of the shopping and resturants. it is great location and great experience. i will be going back.

Not what it was cracked up to be

Unhelpful desk clerk at check in, and the room was difficult to get to with luggage (several sets of stairs and no one there to help). Newly remodeled room but already getting shabby (by not cleaning in the corners, not repairing furniture, etc.). We thought there was sand in the bed--turned out to be a termite problem. The pool couldn't be used because it leaked. The NOISE was awful--a party until after 3 in the hotel bar just outside our window on Saturday, with no warning except when the hotel clerk woke us up to give us free tickets to the event later that night. Complained to the front desk (repeatedly) but they simply said, "We left a message for the manager."

Great family location

This location lets you explore the historic fort dating from the 1750's. The boardwalk shouldn't be missed.
