Beautiful, secluded, honeymoon getaway

My husband and I ferried over to Peter Island Resort after our wedding in St John, USVI. The resort was beautiful and secluded, perfect for a honeymoon getaway. there was a private party at the resort consisting of over 90 wedding go-ers. it is unclear if the resort always seems this secluded or if it was bc the most of the resort guests were part f this private party and had daily excursions planned. The resort has many activities for those moments when we want to leave your room or the hammock. We enjoyed a sunset experience complete with complimentary cheese and crackers, 4 hours on a remote beach where we were the only ppl and a picnic lunch was delivered to our private cabana, island tours, and plenty of watersports such as sea kayaking and zodiak rentals. all of these activites and much more are all complimentory. we stayed in a beautiful ocean side bangalow with a relaxing upper deck. at first the room appears small but once you open the shades and the door to the ocean deck, it couldnt be better. there are no TV's in the room but you can get a nice DVD player and movies at the front desk to be delivered to your room. there is also a great club room with a large plasma TV, pool table, books, games, and computer stations. the all-inclusive meals plan is the way to go. the food was AMAZING and the service was top-notch. after 6pm a more formal attire is required for the main lobby, restarant and bar but the beach bar and grill allows a more casual attire with the same great food and service. beverages are not included in the all-inclusive plan but there fridges in each room and the resort does not frown upon you drinking your own libations. for example, we brought our own bottle of wine on the sunset tour and the resort provided the ice, glasses, opening service and cheese/cracker/fruit platter. we can not say enough about this resort and the staff. high reccomend!
