Very freindly staff wth immaculately kept grounds. Food was overpriced and marginal but the location and friendly staff made up for the overpriced food.

Saigon Phu Quoc

Extremely friendly staff trying to help you at every turn. Most speak only Vietnamese so there is a language problem at times. Beautifully kept grounds. Food is so, so and resort priced. Swimming pool is fantastic. Evening buffet is over priced and food is just OK. Great location right on the beach.

Beautiful getaway resort

We booked the standard room but were upgraded to the bungalow for free. Couldn't ask for a better deal. The room was great and we were very impressed. We spent most of our time on the beach, swimming and relax. The only one thing that we didn't like was that we had to step down from the beach to get to the water, not like other hotel sites where you can walk to the water. Not much room to swim because of rocks and seaweeds but would be good for snorkeling. Breakfast was ample with Western and local food. Staffs were very helpful. We couldn't ask for a better vacation getaway spot and would definitely stay there again. The only thing we didn't like was the service charge of 10% beside tax that automatice added to the hotel and food bills. No one told us about the service charge until we reviewed our final bill after checking out.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Night market is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Lots of fresh sea foods to choose from and the price is only a fraction of what you pay at the hotel. Seafood dinner includes drink are about $20 usd for couple.

Nice place, just showing its age.

Overll a good stay, the place is getting a bit old, but it was clean, the rooms were nice and beach, pool and other amendities were fine, just not top of the line. Our only disappointment was the bycycles there, very old and not really usable for any long excusions. But we did rent the motorbikes right outside the resort and had a good experience with them. Price was great, location if fine and I would stay there again.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Motorbikes are the way to travel, but you do have to be a bit brave, as the roads are mostly dirt and after rain, a lot of mudholes to dodge, so you have to be adventurous to get out on the island to explore on your own, but it is worth it and the natives are friendly and helpful, but not many speak English, so bring a pad to write on, they read English better than they speak it.
