The extraordinary Saigon experience
it was just an abrupt decision on this travel but no regrets as it is really a fantastic experience. i would really love to go back for a longer stay to enjoy this adventure and cross travel and visit its neighboring countries as well. [...] upon reaching the hotel, you can coordinate with the hotel for the arrangement of your city tours, lots of incredible tour packages to choose from. the staff in thien thao hotel is really amazing, i definitely agree with their slogan "your home away from home". i read the reviews of other travellers and they have been helpful to me. the hotel staff were so helpful, they can speak english, it's easy to communicate with them. i love their breakfast! very nice... room services were good, so clean premises too...what else could i say...i would recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues who would wish to travel whether to vietnam first or vietnam last via cambodia, laos, thailand, myanmar and so on...you say its a weird travel but as long as you have the guts, it's worth enjoying, the fun, the adventure to understand and know their heritage and culture, their prehistoric reserves is what matters....you make a difference

Sightseeing tip:

if a traveller loves the nightlife, i suggest to have your hotel booked accessible to these places, a short walk would be convenient to you and securing yourself for safety, better be cautious and attentive enough with your sorroundings, body bag infront of you, leave passport at the hotel or entrust at the hotel reception if you go on tour and for long and short walks within the city by yourself.

the location of the hotel near the big wet traditional market, it is very nice to see all its activity in the morning. You can find many kind local food and fruit. The price and the facility is very good...its room had wify.... mini bar, TV with int'l channel, clean bathroom. English comunication is easy with the recepsionist ..and feel family atmosphere there. Hope to came back again in the near future

A nice new hotel with good facilities
A nice new hotel with good facilities in the room. Free internet and big TV. During the breakfast, they have 4-option menu to choose between. Location a bit off the centre, but a nice walk away.

Location is away from the Tourist
Location is away from the Tourist Hub of De Thang St but a Taxi is around 30,000 dong. We found this Hotel very convenient as it was closer to the airport than any in district 1. The staff are very friendly and nothing is impossible for them. Do not get a room facing the street at the noise can be an issue at night. Only use SinhCafe/SingTours to book all tours as the hotel ones are triple the price.

My wife and i enjoyed 10 days
My wife and i enjoyed 10 days here on the 27th October, 2009. The service excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi to city centre but cheap fares and good service. This was our first visit to Ho Chi Minh City from England and the people so friendly and Vietnamese food similar to Chinese and cheap and tasty. As always many motor cycles and chaotic traffic but somehow orderly in the Vietnam manner. In brief we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend Thien Thao Hotel and if you search the internet many good bargains to be found.

The hotel staff members are polite,
The hotel staff members are polite, attentive and courteous to guests. Breakfast facility and food meet my requirement. Coffee and tea are ready round the clock. I had pleasant stay in this hotel rather than the stay in other bar and hot tourist spot.
