Tan Hai Long Hotel & Spa

I stayed there 4 nights with my girlfriend and had an amazing time. This is the hotel you need if you're fed up with backpackers but don't want to spend too much in a fancy hotel. You got the fancy without the expensive price. Although the room was very small and with no view (view to another building), it was the only cons to this stay. The breakfast is very good and various, you have the choice between a vietnamese style (pho, noodles or rice) , american (sausage, eggs) and "european" (bakeries). There is also fresh fruit juices. The staff is always there when needed maybe too much ^^ (there's really no need to have doors openers men ^^) and very polite. The location is perfect, very close to 2 markets selling amazing food, souvenirs, groceries etc... Perfect value for money.

A nice and clean hotel within very close reach of market, restaurants, Bars/pubs and parks. Hotel prepare take-away breakfast for early check-out guests. I probably will choose to stay there again if there is a promotion rates available.

The staffs are very accomodating, location is very near Ben Than market and other tourist spots, clean hotel and the food is good

Stayed 3 nights as part of a week long vacation to Vietnam. The hotel is located right across from a busy park and adjacent to the Ben Thanh Market. It is also located in touristy District 1 which is close (long walk or short taxi ride) to most major attractions (i.e. Unification Palace, War Remnants Museum). The hotel looks like it was recently renovated. Rooms were clean but small, no real view eventhough there was a window. The shower area was designed poorly (tub inserted into shower stall so water escapes the tub if you use the shower as an actual shower), but at least had good water pressure. Free internet computers (5) in lobby, and free wifi in rooms. Hotel also has spa service which we did not use. Overall, it is a 3-star establishment in good condition, very good service, standard ammenities, average breakfast (did not have any other meals there). Not bad considering we paid $47 USD (incl tax) for a 1-king bed room, and $60 USD (incl tax) for a 3 person room [breakfast included]. Location: right in tourist area ($6-7 USD from airport via taxi) Service: very good (agents speak reasonably good english; were helpful; did not feel rushed) Tour desk: provides tour options and help with restaurants Food: breakfast buffet is passable (mixture of asian and non-asiam fare); pho and omelette station

We enjoyed very much our stay in this hotel. Unfortunately the internet liability was not so good. The staff was very kind and helpful with us. The location near the market was very appreciated. Thank you.

Great Location because it's really near to Ben Thant Market and it's easy to find restaurant. My room was in the Building A ... the room was clean but the bed was crack so every time we moved during the sleep it's make annoying sound. The most annoying part that outside our room, there's cleaning lorry that wasn't moved at all during our stay (5D/4N). The staff's very helpful. A lot of varieties in breakfast and I really enjoyed pho (noodle soup) for breakfast =). I like the Spa. It's great and relaxing.

The hotel was nice, the room comfortable although it didn't have a view (the window faced a blank wall). The spa is good too. The breakfast buffet wasn't very good in my opinion, although they do offer a very varied menu.

Great location right in the centre of the city, across the road from the main market area. It can be a little noisy but not really a major problem. The rooms are small but clean and service is good. It has a safe in the room. Good buffet breakfast provided. We would definitely stay again.

great location and was very clean. room is a bit small without a view but overall a great hotel to stay if you plan to shop at behn tahn market

Location of hotel is good, very near to Banh Thai Market, only 3 mins walk.
