Lovely Stay in Hanoi
I checked in at the Hotel which is just in the Old Quater of Hanoi. So you just need to go an the street to soak in all the awesome spirit of Hanoi. The Room was really nice, especially the staff was helping me with any query I had. They even send postcards for you if you like :) And remember, Hoan Kiem Lake is just 5min walk away and on the way is a Citibank ATM where you can get cash from your credit card without paying any fee.

What a disappointment.
Poorly maintained throughout. Untrained staff on duty when we arrived resulted in a poor overall impression. On the next day, the manager and receptionist did their best under difficult circumstances. During a month long visit in SE Asia, this was the worst hotel we stayed in.

Not bad, not great either
I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. I checked in late because of a delayed flight, that wasn't a problem. I was on the ground floor, which was noisy due to its proximity to the kitchen and general toilet. Not bad, not great either.

You get what you get for the $
Pleasant and helpful staff, great location, tasty breakfast, airport pickup and drop-off was smooth. Unfortunately the rooms need work. Sure, the pictures were actually taken at the hotel, but are likely 10 years old. Everything from the shower curtain, to the ceiling, to the floors, to the furniture is molding and deteriorating. Also, it's a pretty noisy place. But hey, for the $17 I paid for each night, there was no way I would have changed hotels. I got what I bargained for and was totally fine accepting it.

Good Hotel to Stay in Hanoi
This is a good Hotel to stay if you have tight budget. it located in the old city center, very convenient for travelers, you can walk around to see old Hanoi; the management team are friendly, provide good help, last day when I left in the early morning, they took me to bus station by motor bike, with luggage, lot of fun.

Great location
Unfortunately the first night wasn't great as I was in a room with mould on the wall which made the room musty, especially as there was no window. There was also a really loud noise all night that sounded like a generator. The next morning I asked the receptionist if I could change to another room and he said it was fine. Thankfully I moved to a larger room that had a window, a vast improvement on the first one. (The room in the photo looks nothing like the actual rooms!) The breakfast is fine although not always ready at 7. The hotel is in a great location in the old quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake is a short 5 minute walk away. For the price, it's good value for money.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
If you come out of the hotel and turn right, the first street you reach has a long outdoor market. Come out of the hotel and turn left, the first street is good for shopping and leads to the lake.

Good location and helpful staff ever!!!
I was enjoyable with my stay here. I booked a superior room with small windows. The room is not too small, cozy and clean. One thing makes me feel happy that was the location. You can easily walk around the old quarter and buy stuff without any problems. Otherwise, the staff here exactly are very friendly and helpful. You can ask them everything and even if they don't know, they will try their best to ask for you. Execellent.!!!! Aniway, I will come back and recommend this hotel for my friends.

Lovesick
Tripin' in Hanoi
My goals for traveling to Hanoi were to reunite with a friend living there and practice international travel. I accomplished both, and am very happy with the over-all experience. I saw a number of temples and the army museum. Among other sites. It was like candy for the eye.

Money-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
The prices the motor bike taxi and other taxi drivers quote you are for the hour. Keep track of the time and insist on going back to were he picked you up when you're ready to go back. Don't allow him to suggest places for you to see.
