- Poppys on the Lagoon have a beachfront open air restaurant. The chefs menu offers all day dining exclusively for guests and their friends. The menu is inspired from local fresh tropical produce including organic Vanuatu beef, local prawns and seafood. There are also the holiday favourites including burgers and ice-cream sundaes. A range of NZ, French and Australian wines, local and imported beers, cocktails and fresh fruit juices are available. There is a regular cocktail happy hour and specials daily. The Studio room we had been allocated
The Studio room we had been allocated was only average for the price and too far away from water and facilities, so we upgraded. It had a spa which we used once only. Extremely noisy when operating which did not make the spa a relaxing experience, so the spa was superfluous The 'complimentary' breakfast on our first day was very average (Half of 1 sausage? Sausages can't be that expensive in Vanuatu) The TV in the bungalow was far too small. Soundproofing in bungalows is obviously a problem. Had a movie playing (Not loudly) and told by neighbours on other side of common wall ,to turn it down. But I think they may have been simply old farts. I think the $30 per night extra for the upgrade was too much, it wasn'ta $30 dollar a night better room. On a positive note, the cleanliness was great, the ladies who serviced the room daily did a great job. In fact all the staff were great and extremely helpful and polite. If one is looking for quiet and solitude, Poppy's is good.

dans l'ensemble bon accueil sauf
dans l'ensemble bon accueil sauf le premier jour , nous sommes arrivés tard 21h il n' y avait d'accueil restauration prévu, ne serait-ce qu'un encas , le jour suivant, la soirée d'accueil était très réussie , bonne ambiance conviviale . , dommage qu'il n' y ait pas de restaurant, il y a seulement un snack l'hôtel est bien placé en ce qui concerne la proximité avec le centre ville mais aussi jouxtant les bidonvilles , la plage n'est pas très belle on s'attend à mieux , néanmoins nous avons passé un agréable séjour très reposant , l'hôtel lui même est simple mais bien

L'hôtel est basique et excentré
L'hôtel est basique et excentré de Port Vila. Le personnel à l'accueil est sympathique mais le service du petit déjeuner est très très peu performant. L'appartement est très bruyant. C'est un hôtel un peu vieux avec des tarifs non adaptés aux prestations proposées. J'ai testé un deuxième hôtel ( [other hotel]) bien moins cher et avec des prestations hôtelières bien supérieures.

Ensemble très satisfaisant, d'autant
Ensemble très satisfaisant, d'autant plus qu'à notre deuxiéme passage nous avons eu droit à un bugalows bord de mer avec spa ! Peut-être un effort à faire au niveau des possibilités de repas.
