The Alpenhof is a landmark Teton Village property filled with Bavarian style elegance and charm. The day starts with a complimentary breakfast followed a day on the slopes. Return to pet the resident golden retriever, grab an après ski beer, pretzels and fondue, then finish with a hot tub soak. Guests who stay at The Alpenhof benefit from having the closest Jackson Hole lift access and a 50-year tradition of hospitality.

Dining

The Alpenhof has a casual bistro and fine dining Swiss-German restaurant on site. Both serve the house specialty fondue (look for complimentary fondue house parties in winter) and use organic local farm produce. Get lunch, espresso, and après ski with microbrews and an award winning wine list. Room service is available.

Rooms
The Alpenhof is a four-story lodge with a variety of room configurations that sleep 2 to 4. Furniture is handcrafted and painted in Bavarian style. Cozy linens are made of soft down. Expect alpine charm in every room, from the small gabled top floor rooms to the fireplace and balcony suites. Some private baths have Jacuzzi tubs, heated floors and heated towel racks. Free Wi-Fi Internet access, cable TVs and hair-dryers are available in all rooms.
Property features

The top-rated Alpenhof stands alone in Teton Village with its character and authentic Swiss-chalet designs. Look for vibrant window boxes, hand carved woodwork and even a Swiss Alphorn blowing party during Oktoberfest. This 42-room hotel is small compared to others but provides all the comforts of a full-service, upscale hotel. Enjoy bike paths in Teton Village or unwind in the traditional Finnish dry sauna and detoxify with all-organic spa treatments. Parking is free.

Awesome Alpenhof

Had a wonderful stay at the Alpenhof Lodge in Teton Village. Room was perfect with a beautiful view of the Tetons, a balcony to enjoy it, an awesome bistro with buffet breakfasts included, featuring a fantastic deck with great views of the Tetons as well. Staff was wonderful. Booked massages and they were wonderful too! Enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings under the stars, with the whole pool area to ourselves, (must have been the time of year). Couldn't be any happier than our stay at the Alpenhof and would come back in a heartbeat! LOVED IT!!!!

Relaxing Night At Great Hotel After Camping in Yellowstone

This hotel is right in midst of nice ski area. It was summer so no skiing but nice village atmosphere. There was a wonderful free outdoor concert while I was there. Host was very helpful in telling me how to get into town a better way than the route I took from Yellowstone through Grand Teton Natl Park (do not come this way as turns into pitted gravel road). Nice paved roads coming from town of Jackson Hole instead. Hotel very Swiss like. Rooms are well insulated for sound. Nice amenities. Nice comfortable bed. Very relaxing and nice. This hotel is inexpensive compared to other hotels in area (not inexpensive in itself but inexpensive for Jackson Hole area).

OK, but expensive

Excellent location for the Grand Teton National Park (approx 1/4 mile). However, the hotel is very expensive, but I suppose you are paying for the location, not the facilities.
