Good Visit to Jackson Hole
We had a nice stay at Snake River Resort and Spa. The hotel has a new and old section. We had a King Room in the new section. Which is a long way from the lobby area. There is absolutely no view unless you like looking at the Four Season's Hotel. The only positive on location is that it is slope side. The spa is great! Nice locker rooms with all the amenities. Maid service was bad. First day no clean towels. Bed wasnt made up properly each day. (throw pillows left on floor or seats in room), tissues not refilled, complimentary water not left each day, and had to ask for coffee. Heater in room was excessively noisy and would not shut off. The first night the room was so hot we opened the window. From then on out we had the A/C on and still couldnt get the room temp below 70. Too hot for sleeping and the fan ran all the time...noisy. Had maintenance come check it and it still wasnt better. Staff: Front desk, Concierge, and restaurant staff were wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. I guess you take the good with the bad? Just not the 4-5 star Resort experience we are use to!

Ski in, Walk Up
This was a fantastic hotel. The location of the hotel was even better than imagined. You were able to walk up the stairs, buy your lift tickets and be on the lift in less than five minutes. At the end of the day you can ski right down to the ski valet door next to the path you walked up. Free ski valet, free valet parking, free internet, wonderful pool and spa, great room service and the breakfast buffet was delicious! For $16 per person which includes drinks, coffee and tea with no refill charges is cheaper than going to a restaurant. Plus the food was fresh and never sat out long. The only issue was a check in mix up for the type of room I reserved but front desk quickly addressed it and upgraded me at no additional cost.

Great Hotel - Great Skiing
My wife and I had a fantastic time at the Lodge. We had stayed in the Village once before at a different location and loved being in the Village. We had dinner at the SR Lodge that time and we were impressed with the place so when we went back this year we tried it out. It was great. The staff, the facilities, the location, everything was great. I skied as much as I could. My wife enjoyed being so close to the lift so she could take breaks in the room ...or sleep late! We had a room with a fireplace and it was fantastic ...lot of space and very comfortable. Honestly would not have changed anything ...except how long we stayed ...should have been 2 weeks instead of 1!

Perfect winter retreat
The staff was overly accommodating and the trip was an incredible experience. As Floridians aka non skiers/snow people etc. we were happy with all that the resort had to offer and amazed with the location. I rated 4 instead of 5 on certain items only because I felt that the spa services were a bit over priced and lacking variety. Over all we will definitely return and will look for Rock Resorts for our next vacation.

Another Great Trip to the Snake River Lodge
The Rock resorts definitely achieve elegance without pretense. If you need pretense, head next door to the Four Seasons. If you want a good 4 star plus value, this is the place.

Great place to stay when skiing
Staff at Snake River was very, very friendly and helpful, from the front desk, to ski, boot, and car valet. Brunch was fantastic at a very good price. A short walk from the lodge up to the ski lifts but very nice to ski all the way back down to the Lodge at the end of the day. Nothing memorable about the average size room, though bathroom very well laid out, but for the price and location a great place to stay. Being able to shower and change in the Spa at the end of last ski day and after checking out a huge bonus!

awesome
What a wonderful place to stay while in Teton Village. The resort is very rustic and has two fireplaces that are a welcome site after a long day skiing. The thing my husband and I were most impressed with was the staff. Everyone and I do mean everyone in this place was super friendly and always willing to answer any questions we had.

Winter Vacation
Overall, this was a good resort. That said, there are some things worth mentioning. First, even though I was booked for a slopeside room, I was told that they chose the rooms booked through wholesalers and I was given a room facing the parking lot where all I could see was the back-end of SUVS. I was awaken daily by backhoe parking lot cleanup at 4:30 am and it was just noisy to be on the parking lot. Most pillows were awful, but I did manage to get one I could sleep with. It appears our room was scavenged by the housekeeping staff which was why we were glad we used the in-room safe for our valuables. On the other hand, the food was good though the prices were high, but this was true for all of Jackson Hole. The staff was friendly and the entire place was clean. We did have to request toilet paper and soap when the housekeeping staff left us without, but other than that it was a really good stay. I loved the proximitiy to the slopes and the bus into Jackson was right outside the resort. Overall, just a really good experience.

The Mangy Moose had better pricing and good food, but you will give up some on service for the break in price.
