A Find!

Nestled by a mountain..it was a most cozy place to stay. The issue of acoustics could be improved. I heard the conversations of my neighbors, so the walls were a bit thin. Also, the hum of a large a/c unit outside our room impeded on the bliss of the location.

Exhaust Fan

Our room was fine, clean & comfortable, but right out our back door was the exhaust system from the hotel next door. It ran constantly. We ran our a/c fan to counteract the exhaust fan noise. That worked just fine. All in all a good place. Just needs a little sprucing up.

Take the tram up to the Waffle place. Delicious waffles. Beautiful views. Wear a jacket - it's cold at 10,450 ft.

Nice location

The room was nothing great but had a nice location in the middle of the village close to all shops and tram. A little over priced.

Jackson Hole vs Jackson

The pictures on the website are better than the real thing. This was the most expensive hotel on our trip and the least acceptable. We booked based on comments on the website, but they all seem to be a little inflated. The room was a little shabby and the water situation in the shower was strictly hit or miss. Hot hot most of the time and sometimes cold. Not controlled by humans.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Jackson Hole and Jackson are not one and the same as we found out too late. Jackson Hole is the ski location about a thirty minute drive from the town of Jackson. There are very few chain hotels in Jackson, but that would be the place to stay. Jackson Hole has good restaurants and other nice hotels, but little or no shopping or other attractions.

Not as good as it looks in the pictures

The location was good, but the rooms and bathrooms were outdated and the air condition was too loud. No breakfast. The hotel looked much better than it turned out to be.

A rip off

We are on a long road trip and this hotel has been the only one that was totally unacceptable. The name is misleading. It's really far from town. Parking is inconvenient. They charged an extra "resort fee" for nothing. It's probably fine during sky season, but in the summer it's a complete rip off.

it`s too expensive for what they offer

As usual everything was left to the last minute, so we booked the hotel in the morning to be there for around 8:00pm the same day. All hotels around here were in the same price category so we rolled the dice for this one. As there are 5 of us we ended up with the “President Suite” which is far from being presidential. The TVs are probably 10 year old tube type with a snowy picture. Had hoped to connect the lap top and watch a movie, but no connection possibilities. No fridge to cool a few drinks. The furniture is pretty basic and the bathroom is at best basic, but clean. After paying $350 for one night without breakfast I feel better deals at lower prices can be obtained within a 10-15 mile radius. I do not feel as if I got what I paid for. Considering it is the season to be taken to the cleaners $150 less would have been more appropriate
