A+ hotel, A+ location

Although we booked a vacation package (where you would expect to compromise a little), not one detail was negative about Hotel Terra, except that we had to leave. The staff was friendly, it was a terrific example of a green hotel, the decor was lovely, all the rooms overlooked something beautiful, and it was located between many things to do. The had so many amenities that they didn't charge for (computer usage, laundry services, roof top hot tub, pool, fitness room) that you truly felt spoiled. Their main restaurant, Osteria, was the best dinner I had in Jackson - hands down. Even better than its sister restaurant, Rendezvous Bistro in Jackson. The waiter was incredibly knowledgeable of both the menu and everything to do around Jackson and Teton Village. When I return to Jackson, which I certainly will, I will plan my trip around being able to stay at Hotel Terra. But next time, I'll go during the winter. Completely satisfied.

Good Quality Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. At first glance it looked like they were pushing the 'eco-friendly' thing too hard but they did a good job of mixing that into a high quality hotel. The rooms are very clean, they had twice daily housekeeping, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The best of the best!

The last day of the trip to Grand Teton & Yellowstone for a week, our family stayed at Terra. My kid didn't want to leave Terra in the morning. It was that good! Will choose Terra again when come back to Jackson Hole area!

1 night stay

I was only in town for 1 night but the staff greeted me as if I would be staying forever. The room was perfect...clean, simple and comfortable. The bath tub was huge and made for a nice jet bubble bath after a long day of traveling. The beds were very comfortable too. The only thing missing were snacks and mini-bar items. The cafe closes in the afternoon so I had to walk to a convenient store to get snacks but that was fine as it was nice to take a stroll around the village. The cafe downstairs is cozy and staff again super friendly. Food at the cafe and the Italian restaurant was delicious. I will definitely consider staying here next time I come to Jackson!

Awesome and friendly place

This is a great and well-furnished hotel. Though the pull-out bed was a little surprising the rooms are equipped with beautiful and sturdy furniture. Staff was helpful and courteous. We went in the beginning of the low season, so sometimes we found services closed. However, all you had to do was ask the staff for something, and they gladly provided it.

Nightlife tip: Not Applicable

Mangy Moose is only night attraction in Teton Village, and it closes during the slow season...Otherwise you have to go all the way to Jackson Hole--which is a little lame when you would like to be able to get home without having to drive

beautiful location

A great location if you want to be in tune with nature. You are close to town and all it offers, and convenient to the Grand Tetons Nat'l Park. We enjoyed the Tram ride to the top of the mountain.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

You need better driving directions coming from the Yellowstone. We learned that the streets and addresses in Teton Village had been changed. Our GPS device could not locate the address for Teton Village 3335 West Village Drive. I did not realize in booking with Orbitz, that "Teton Village" was not the name of the hotel, rather the name of the development.

nice...but noisy

My husband and I chose Hotel Terra because of the location. The room we stayed in was very nice other than our view. Just the view of construction and buildings. The room was very comfortable and clean. Quite noisy though between the construction at the crack of dawn and loud partiers. Also, maid didn't do our room one day.
