Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY

Booked hotel back in october-direct with hotel-got a gov't leisure rate. I asked what was needed for check in and was told id only. When we arrived in May to check in they refused to honor rate and said we needed id and gov't credit card. I stated we were told only id-they said the person who told us that was fired. Asked to talk to manager-they called the manager who said they would not honor rate. As there was a soccer tournament in town we had no choice but to pay higher rate-I was told that rate would have been lower if I booked 30 days out-I booked in October-seems to me that was more then 30 days out, But instead I had to pay the highest rate they had. Front desk staff was very rude and most unhelpful. We have stayed in past and never had any problems. New management company took over in June. Please avoid this hotel unless you like being given one rate and paying another on check in.

The Hotel is a very high standard, the beds were extreamley comfortable the room size is bigger than average, the room had a little area to prepare snacks and drinks with a microwave and fridge, The hotel was very clean. We had our two children with us and they swam in the pool and had a great time. It is definatley the best hotel in sheridan, I have stayed in others there and this is the best.

The hotel was so easy to find and the staff was very friendly and helpful. In addition, the hotel was very quiet and the continental breakfast and coffee were good and hot! Overall, a very nice, clean, quiet, pleasant hotel to stay in while traveling!

The staff was friendly yet evidently not empowered to accommodate basic customer service needs without checking with management. The heater did not work and was not fixed during our stay. The TV options did not include basic TV channels, i.e. ABC, NBC, CBS. In order to enjoy the breakfast buffet, one needed to be there promptly since it didn't seem to be replenished. Room was clean and comfortable.

Very good experience here. It is a very new hotel and clean. The hot breakfast was good as well.

We used this as a halfway stopping point between Rapid City and Yellowstone and it worked out perfectly. We were very close to all of the amenities of the city, but still got to view nature (pronghorn antelope!) right in front of the hotel. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler.

This was such a great hotel. The king bed was great! The jacuzzi was beautiful. I loved the added touches around the jacuzzi. (Flowers, candles, a basket of soap and bubbles, even matches to light the candles.) The matching robes were an added plus. I didn't expect those. The king suite was very romantic and I would recomend this room for any couple who want to take a break from everything and relax. My husband will definitely return soon.
