Visiting the InLaws
Good for kids! Close to downtown!
We enjoyed staying within walking distance of downtown. Other Sheridan Hotels of this category (Holiday Inn, Wyngate, etc) are located near the interstate and require driving in (or taking the neat Trolley). The room we booked had two queen beds and Bunk Beds, so more than comfortable for our family of 4 (two adults, two toddlers). The breakfast was a bit crowded and hectic, but it was nice to have a hot meal close at hand. The value was good. We got the room and rental car for less than $200 a night.

Kendrick Park has community pool with kiddie area and waterslide. Also nearby is a county park with buffalo and elk!

My room was too close to the pool at a time when there were a lot of young children at the hotel. The noise was so loud that I couldn't hear my TV, and the dining room din during the complimentary breakfast was so loud that the waitress and I had to shout in order to hear each other while ordering. The opportunity to access either the parking lot or the hotel interior was good, but having to cross the street via the sky bridge to use the bar or restaurant was less enjoyable.

Satisfactory place to stay
Wifi didn't work very good, our room didn't have a refrigerator or micro wave. We had been delayed and did get in very late. Everything else was fine, the continental breakfast was OK. The room did provide the most required thing and that was a bed. All in all it was not a bad place to stay.

bad experience with the staff in the hotels restaurant. very slow, unfriendly,... cleaness of the hallways not good. quite dirty. overall: overprized

Best Western in Sheridan
Housekeeping knocked loudly on our door around 8:30 a.m. Although I didn't have out a "Do No Disturb" sign, we hadn't hadn't anticipated being awakened so early by room cleaning staff. After our late arrival the night before, it got our day off to a very bad start. Is this your normal practice? If so, it is not a good one. Jo Earhart

A comfortable experience
It was a nice place for a one-night stopover on a long trip. The dining room was a bit sub-par, and the breakfast buffet needed better maintenance - the serving table looked like a bomb had gone off by the time we got there at 8:30 or so. But for the price it was fine.
