Better off at their competitors

This place is a poorly put together and maintained old hotel. Paper thin walls, overpriced restaurant, food was good though. I had to clean my toilet since there were urine spots on it when I checked in. No elevator, there were about ten sheets of toilet paper on the roll when I checked in. (come on, they can't afford a new roll?) The location was great, restaurant staff was poorly trained and not really interested in providing great service. I would grade it a C-.

It was a room to stay in for the night.

Rawlins is a neat little town. The hotel has established a plan to provide a partial credit for breakfast at the attached restaurant, but no one knew how it worked and it wasn't described accurately in their literature. The bed was good.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

There is a neat ice cream shop in town on the main drag that is worth a visit. Don't remember the name, though. Sorry. Just ask anyone about it.

Great room, great price, ugly service

Including the checkin it took three trips(long diagonal distance) to get the expected door card key, soap, coffe maker and pot. Of course there was a long line at the front desk each time. Only one person who was very busy answering the phone and checking people in. The room was excellent..very comfortable and quiet.
