The desk clerk that checked me in was very courteous and smiled all the time. I never had so much fun checking in before. The hotel is older, but in good shape and has a great breakfast. I would definately stay here again.

Could Be Better
The motel needs a total upgrade from carpets to plumbing. It has old musty smelling rooms. Shower water temperature goes up and down on its own.
Staff are courteous and trying to do best with what they have.

Adequate for travelers on the go
The Days Inn Rawlins in Rawlins, WY, is adequate for an overnight stay for travelers passing through town. Our smoke-free room was clean and comfortable with no stale smoke odor. The facility had secure exterior entry doors, but it shows sign of
aging with somewhat worn carpets in the hallway. The continental breakfast was somewhat limited with only one hot selection, but all the food available was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Not what I expect
The Days Inn Rawlins was an alright hotel for someone just passing through town. The hotel looks run down and a lot of things in the hotel and the room were worn out or old. The hallways were dark and unwelcoming. In the room several things
were worn out, the toilet ran, the shower had low water pressure, and the bedding had cigarette burn marks in it even though I was in a non-smoking room. Discovering upon arrival that the hotel restaurant closed I thought would not be a big deal, unfortunately there is nowhere around to eat. Another major problem was noise, the hotel seemed to have very little insulation between the walls and between the floors. Overall I would only stay here again if I was passing through the state and I had no other options.
