It was okay

The room was clean and nice. It did not have all the accomidations that I would find in a very nice hotel but it was not the cost of a very nice hotel either. For what I paid, it was quite nice. I expected something not as nice and was pleased with the room. It was well worth the cost.

I couldn't find a nice place to eat, only fast food or bars. If you come to this city, bring your own food or eat fast food.

Clean and Comfortable for a nite or 2

The outside of this motel isn't appealing and neither is the lobby. But the rooms are clean and comfortable and quiet. There's fruit and breakfast items in the lobby in the morning. Not fancy, but for a nite or 2 you can't beat the price.

Check In Hassles

We made our reservations via the internet about 10:00 pm. We arrived at the Motel about 11:30. We were told that they had mistakenly over booked the non-smoking rooms, and that they did not have a non-smoking room available for us. The clerk was not helpful, did not offer any refund, or any assistance in finding an acceptable room. She seemed to want us to leave with no service after having paid for the room. When I asked her to contact her supervisor (She kept repeating that she was new and didn't know how to do anything) suddenly she found our reservation in the system, and had a non-smoking room for us.

Adequate stay

One-night stay on a cross-country trip. Slightly bigger room than I was expecting; everything else was quite ordinary. Reasonably clean. The place was a bit noisy but tolerable for one night.

Website needs to be Updated!

My biggest frustration with this hotel was the inaccuracy of their own web site. I was looking for a room where we could keep our 3 cats. We were moving and needed a place for them to stay. Their web site stated that pets were fine and quoted a price. Since we were going to arrive late I thought I'd call and let them know we were going to be late. The phone number was not even valid so I could not call. When we got there we were told that their web site must be wrong and the cost of each pet was much higher. In fact, we were only supposed to be able to keep 1 pet, although there was no mention of that on their web site. We had to pay the higher price, although they did let us keep all three cats in the room (at a high price per cat). We would not have chosen to stay there had we known the facts.

My experience

We went there after a very hectic day of travel. The location was not very obvious. The lobby smelled of smoke even though we could see that that the placed displayed the NO SMOKING board. The carpets were a little untidy. Breakfast served was good. The sheets and other amenities were OK. Staff was helpful.

Friendly, easy to find, good price

Front desk staff was very friendly with sense of humor. Location is easy to find and close to 24 hour diner. If you're on a budget this hotel fits in great. The rooms are small and there's little frill but its clean, free wi-fi and you get a good nights rest.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Penny's Diner is the only 24-hour dining available in town. It's a classic old fashioned diner staight out of the 50's and it's just down the street from the hotel.
