Not Fancy But Fine
Clean as a whistle, front desk folks were friendly, bed was comfortable, towels were fluffy, the alarm clock worked and the shower was hot. That's what I expect from a budget motel and this place delivered. Though close to the highway, the noise was minimal, although voices carried through the walls.

The Mexican restaurant across the parking lot is supposedly good; we ate at Jeffrey's Bistro, Coal Creek Coffee, the Prairie Rose Cafe and the UW campus. All good.

'Altitude' in the heart of the historic district has a wonderful lunch menu (too pricey for supper though). For the best 'local experience' try Mulligan's Pub, the Ranger, or Copper's Corner.

It's perfect, no matter how it looks
I absolutely agree with a comment that said that outside it looks disappointing. The best one is inside. The room is perfect and the value even better. Impossible best value for less price.

Clean and Comfortable
Easy location right off the interstate. Very clean room. No real amenities, just a good quiet place to get some sleep. Flat panel HDTV in the room was nice.

Great location; great price; clean and c
Although it was close to the freeway and noisy outside, inside was very quiet, clean, roomy and comfortable. Nicely decorated. We had everything we needed and nothing more. Convieniently located. The price was affordable. We would stay here again!
