Great place to stay in Laramie!

We were just here for the one night, but found the Hilton Garden Inn to be a really nice, comfortable hotel. The room was super clean and comfortable. Nice comfortable bed, large glass shower, free Wi-Fi and great food for breakfast in the in hotel restaurant. Will definitely try to stay there again. The Inn is close to campus and a lot of area restaurants. LAramie is one of our favorite weekend get away locations.

Combination mini vacation and graduation

It was a great location in town to be staying for a WyoTech graduation. Adding in some sight seeing through the Snowy Range, thanks to the staff, who were very nice and informative. I dont think I could have asked for a better place to stay. I was a wonderful experience. The hotel was fantastic and Wyoming is a beautiful state.

Best in Laramie

This Garden Inn was the nicest I have been in, with the property comparable to higher-end chains. The hotel is very near the university, a highly competitive area. The lobby is beautiful and fully appointed. There is a real restaurant on premise. Check-in was a breeze, the service prompt and personal. The lobby convenience shop was a bit sparse, likely because there are options within walking distance of the hotel. Room setup is standard, with a combo bathroom and no dividers or partitions. Free internet was s-l-o-w, well under .5 Mbps, suitable only for e-mail and rudimentary web browsing. We had a room with two doubles, one was firm and comfy while the other was like sleeping on a bag of potatoes. I should have checked it before we bedded down for the night. I had read other reviews that said noise was a problem, we found this to be true. We stayed near the pool and at 1:00 AM we were awakened by some kind of vacuuming, twice.

Nice hotel for a cowboy town

The hotel is near the football stadium, so it would be good if going to a college game. The rooms were clean and nice. Comfortable beds and pillows. Average size pool and hot tub. We skied at Snowy Range Ski Area, which is about 35 miles away. I would stay here again.

There are places to eat near and in the hotel, but the old down town area is a short drive away and has a nice selection of places to eat and shop.

Staying at Hampton

Eat at resturant, sleep somewhere else

1) Lots of confusion over our late arrival reservation. 2) First suite smelled like the pool room. 3) Substitute room too small for 3, 1 slept in chair. 4) Cold suite second night. It took 2 hours to warm room from 64 to 72. The other three potential substitute suites had the same heating problem. 5) No compensation on pricing was offered for these problems. 6) Hallways to rooms on 2nd floor and above smell like rubber dishwashing gloves. Cheap rubberbacked carpet maybe? 7) Parking lot not well plowed of snow.
