This beautiful town that glistens on the plains is located in the southern part of Wyoming, northwest of Cheyenne between two mountain ranges. The University of Wyoming is just one mile from our hotel in Laramie, as is Laramie's campus of LCCC. Wyo Tech is also located here and its various campuses are all easily accessible from our Laramie hotel. We were there only 1 night and did not spend much time on the property. However, we found it clean, quiet, and very ... comfortable. Great to not have to hunt for a breakfast spot in the morning before dashing to an airport 2 hours away.

The Hampton Inn in Laramie, Wyoming is comfortable and spacious. Although it was completely booked with families, ... tourists, and business people, and my room was right across from the in-door swimming pool and fitness center, noise did not prove to be a factor. The bed was very comfortable as werea the other furnishings. The complimentary breakfast was well done with both hot and cold selections available.

It's a short drive to the University, the stadium, the Art Museum. There are numerous recreation areas, and historic venues to visit only a few miles away.
