Antelope Out the Window!
We loved the accommodations. The rooms were very quiet and the staff efficient and friendly. We enjoyed shopping in the old downtown area and seeing historic sites in the area.

Our Second Stay
Accomodations were excellent, but a teen alcohol party was going on next door, replete with loud, 4-letter words, ice thrown in the hallway, and loud voices into the night. At about 2, we called the front desk because it sounded like a fight was breaking out. We heard the front desk call the room, then they called us to explain their actions. Given the nature of the disturbance, I thought they would send someone up to check the situation, maybe a few times, but this didn't happen. Got very little sleep that night.

Pleasantly surprised
The AmericInn Laramie is new and had a lovely lobby area - fireplace, stuffed native animals, pine wood railing. Very warm and inviting. Fresh cookies on the desk at check-in. Room was clean with a personalized note from staff. No problems or disappointments there. Small but sufficient work-out room, nice indoor pool. Lots of choices at breakfast, both warm and cold. Perhaps the only thing we did not like was the TV blaring in the breakfast room - not very appetizing. The AmericInn also provided coffee in the lobby - a nice touch. We would most definitely stay at the AmericInn again.

Short drive from hotel
Sweet Melissa's and Jeffrey's Bistro are some of our favorites. Our daughter is a vegetarian, so she has delicious choices. My husband and I are not, but we gladly frequent these restaurants whenever we visit Laramie. Outstanding food. Jeffrey's is slow, so don't go there in a hurry, but the wait is worth it.

Wyoming Hospitality at its Best
The AmericInn was a charming inn. The lobby was reminiscent of a luxury ski lodge. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were plush and the beds were amazing! I wanted to stay an extra night! I liked the location of the hotel. It was convenient to restaurants & shopping. I was very impressed how quiet the rooms were. I am looking forward to the next opportunity to stay at this great hotel.

Not family friendly
It was comfortable, but you could hear everything that was going on in the halls. Room was nice. The hotel itself was nice. No restaurants within walking distance. I think we were there on the wrong weekend.
