We found this gem online and got a great deal on it. there were some bad reviews but i don't think they stayed at this place ... or they changed staff because these people made you feel like a super star!! VERY helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was gourmet and not like you would expect from another hotel. No waffles in a cup or dried out bagels here. We are talking a buffet of deliciousness. Kudos to the chef!! also, the Inn is just on the outside of town and nice and quiet. the visitor center and Elk refuge are across the street and a must see. the whole town of Jackson was pleasant and serene for our anniversary. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Excellent room. We stayed off-season, and got the room thru orbitz for a great price. 150 a night! We stayed in a ... creekside king cabin. The breakfast was the best I've ever had that was included with a room - wonderful!

ROOMS WERE BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED IN WESTERN DECOR AND BEDS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE WITH WONDERFUL BEDDING. THE BREAKFAST WAS ... DELICIOUS, COFFEE GREAT, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT ! WE TRAVELED ALL AROUND JACKSON HOLE AND INTO THE GRAND TETON PARK WHILE AT THE RUSTIC INN. THE LOCATION IS VERY CONVENIENT AND OUT OF THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF DOWNTOWN.

COTTAGES WERE BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN AND WELL APPOINTED! BUFFET BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. STAFF WAS PERSONABLE, FRIENDLY AND VERY ... ACCOMODATING. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE GOING TO JACKSON, WY.

The Rustic Inn is a great place to stay. It has down comforters, flat screen tv, jacussi bathtub, even a heater to warm your ... toes while you stand at the vanity. The full breakfast is really nice upstairs area, with linen napkins and made-to-order omelets. It's within walking distance of downtown and right across from the visitor center and the Elk Preserve so you have the feel of a real open, rural area, plus it's by a little stream that is very nicely landscaped. It's an excellent place to stay and during the off season.

I expected certain amenities. There is no restaurant only a bar with limited food. The food was very good. At first glance ... the room was newly done and quite attractive but in use it was badly designed and shoddily constructed. Beds were comfortable and the towels were first rate. The bathroom was tiny and had an exhaust fan that sounded like an aircraft engine. The vanity and sink were in the main room. There was one easy chair but it had no lamp or light near it so it was not useful to sit and read. The built in drawers keep falling off the track. The window didn't work and the plumbing fixtures were loose. We called maintenace three times in a five night stay. The closet was maybe three feet wide and covered by a curtain. It would not hold our two suitcases or all of our garments that needed to hang. I don't know what it would be like if you had bulky coats. Their idea of a spa is a massage therapist on call. I was expecting a resort and got a motel with good linens.

Home away from home

Our eight year old referred to the Rustic Inn as our "home away from home". It was a great place to relax and kick back ... after being in the national parks all day. We had a great view of the mountains out our back window with a beautiful stream near our backdoor. The staff made us feel very welcomed and the front desk lined up great side trips for us. Definitely would stay there again.
