The perfect getaway!

When I was researching this place I thought it was a hotel...when we arrived there was a main building with a bistro/wine bar and reception area and the "rooms" were these adorable cabins! The rooms were beautiful and they came with white plush robes and a dvd player. Right behind our cabin was a cute creek with geese playing in the water, I loved it :). The staff was super friendly and upgraded our room because there was some construction going on by our original room. There is someone to drive you in to town whenever you need (by in town i mean the whole 3 blocks it takes to get there). The free breakfast was amazing...AMAZING. Yummm. I completely recommend this place in Jackson, I can't wait to go back!!

Great value, great hotel

The Rustic Inn is a great value. Its staff is outstanding. They will arrange shuttles, tours, a taxi if you need to be somewhere before 7:00 a.m. and they are courteous and try to meet all your needs. The hotel serves an inclusive hearty hot buffet breakfast every morning and it is delicious. The Rustic Inn is right across from the Jackson Hole Visitors Center which has plenty of good information and can book any kind of a tour your want if you don't ask the Rustic Inn staff first. The hotel is located less than a half mile walk to Town Square. So, you can go into town, eat a treat at one of the local eateries and walk away some of your calories while returning to your very comfy bed. The hot water heater in the hotel is excellent. When you are there and it's cold, the hot water is ready for you within seconds. There is a spa, pool and exercise area for guests if you are so inclined. We would stay at Rustic Inn again if we visit Jackson Hole.

Warm reception in a cold place

The folks at the rustic greeted us very warmly upon our arrival. The staff was great especially Luke, who drove us around town and entertained us with stories of Jackson Hole. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, where do you find such fresh fruit?

The Gun and Barrel was by far the best dining experience we had in Jackson Hole. Everything about our meal was good from the appetizer to the dessert (deep dish apple pie)

Great room, Great Free Breakfast. Great everything!

This place made my Jackson Hole trip even more special. It had the traditional lodge look but the facilities were super modern. Bathroom and shower were modern and clean. Mattress and bedding were like 5 star hotel. Each room had a small safe, flat screen TV and modern coffee maker with Starbucks coffee. There was their own bar right by the lobby, nice Gym, Hot Tub by the wonderful Pool. oh! Free WiFi, too!!! Staffs were super friendly. Their Free Breakfast was something to remember. It was nothing like one of those "Continental Breakfast" at the other places.Top quality breakfast was prepared fresh every morning and the presentation was just wonderful. The Inn was located very close to Jackson Hole Visitor Center and all other nice restaurants, bars & shops. All in walking distance. The only complain was that the wall between rooms were thin. I could hear my neighbors talking. I even heard a guy snoring at night. But...maybe I had a little louder neighbor. Everything else good could easily cover this minor complain.

Lovely Hotel

Staff were excellent, we were upgraded to a superior room whch was of log cabin effect. The room and facilities in the room were excellent, our coffee maker was broken and they came straightaway and changed it. A full breakfast was included. It was a 10 min walk into the centre of the town with lots of shops, places to eat.

Nice Place

The room (an upgrade as we arrived late). Large facility and need to have good legs or take advantage of their transport. The Inn is not as close to downtown Jackson as their website implies. They do provide "free" transportation downtown and back (you call for service back). I found it quite nice but a bit over priced but everything is over priced in Jackson.

Great location

We enjoyed staying at the Rustic Inn as it was close to town and we could walk to nearly everything in the town. The staff was friendly and helpful. We plan on going back and staying there again.

Not 4 star

I stayed at 4 hotels during my trip to Jackson and the surrounding area and this hotel was the worst. It definitely did not live up to the 4 star rating. The room was very small (you could barely get around the beds), the bathroom was extremely small and you could only fit one person, and the "closet" was just a hanging drapery, it didn't even have a door. For the price of this place and lack of amenities, I would definitely not recommend this hotel. If you want a very nice hotel with an excellent location in Jackson that is comparable in price, I would recommend the Wort Hotel.

Superior queen room the only way to go

Our first two nights were spent in what is called a deluxe queen room with a fireplace which was a tiny cramped room with no fireplace. The only mirror was in the bathroom which caused a lot of delay since four people were sharing this room. We were quite apprehensive when we returned to the property after spending several days in Yellowstone to stay in a superior queen room. This room was definitely better since it was a small log cabin with a wonderful front porch. The mirror problem still was not solved due to the rather unusual bathroom setup, but on the whole this room was quite nice. The breakfast was fantastic, and the courtesy transportation proved to be very useful.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

The room has a microwave and fridge which is handy for sandwiches and some meals since most entrees at local restraurants are above $25.
