No mercy

Unable to make the trip to Jackson Hole because weather prevented us from reaching the airport. Hotel management would offer no relief from the nonrefundable nature of the reservation becasue of extenuating circumstances---not so much as a discount for a postponement of one week. I had notified them as soon as it was clear we could not complete our trip.

Don't stay in the summer

No Air conditioning in the rooms! Room was barely cleaned each day and no internet service unless you stood ten feet out your door. Breakfast was expensive with little to offer. I would not go back ever again.

Very disappointing and way overpriced!

The staff was very detached and not very polite. The dinner was extremely slow in coming. There was no air conditioning when day-time temperature was 88. The condo was old and not very clean. The TV was ancient and only about 14". There were no amenities. Very disappointing and way overpriced!

Nice Hotel, but value/staff left a bit to be desired

Our room was fine and reasonably comfortable. We certainly liked that the hotel was pet friendly. However, the hotel staff were not especially friendly or interested in being accommodating - also, the cleaning staff didn't understand English well enough to understand (come back on 30 minutes) so our room went without cleaning or making up while we were there. It was a bit of a disappointment. We spent nights at 2 other hotels/motels in Jackson Hole and were just as happy or happier for a lot less money.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

This hotel isn't necessarily close to anything, but certainly within a reasonably walk to the park, town square, restaurants, shopping.

Lack of Responsibility

The staff at Snow King Resort need to get their act together now or lose alot of business. The room size was just okay, nothing terrific. The bathroom was extremely small with one light fixture and an exhaust fan disconnected. We also had an entry light that constantly was burning out due to an electrical short. The second day of our visit one of only two elevators broke down and the staff refused to repair or simply put a sign up that warned guests, some people were stuck in there for at least a half hour at a time. I would never recommend this so called Resort to anybody.

Old Dog needs new trick

The location is ok. Excellent if you're there for skiing in winter. But other hotels are right in town. For the price we paid at the time of year (early August) it just seemed way overcharged for the quality of the hotel. We needed to ask to switch rooms since the one they gave us was right by the pool and noisy. And for breakfast, simple eggs, toast etc. they were charging around $11 which is just obnoxious (we obviously drove to a much nicer and half the price diner). I know you're in a tourist town, blah, blah but that was just out of line. And the staff was ok but not outstanding.

Showing wear

Loved the town's activities. Love the atmosphere of Jackson Hole. Asked for two rooms, connected if possible. The two rooms we got were on opposite sides of the building - one on the first floor and one on the sixth floor. Could not access the other room without taking elevator to level two, crossing the lobby, get on another elevator and go to the level of the other room. Toilets in both rooms ran constantly. Called maintenance. They came and got one to shut off but didn't fix it. The next flush caused the toilet to run constantly again. Room allowing pets had a bad smell. Low quality of items in gift shop but priced high. Hotel seems quite worn. Expected much more of a resort. Would not stay at Snow King again.

Out Dated and Needed a lot of TLC

We arrived and did receive a free upgrade from a 2 bedroom to a 4 bedroom. That was nice. Unfortunately the unit was not very well taken care of. It needed a lot of painting done, the dishwasher did work right, several faucets needed repair, there was a strange wetness on the hallway floor, a fan in one of the bathrooms didn't work at all, and the cleaning staff only took out the trash and made the beds everyday. They didn't even clean up around a little bit!!

Wyoming trip

Stayed there out of convenience. Great place for families since it's located within walking distance of everything in town. I stayed two seperate nights at the Snow King and although very comfortable, the second room/final night I had, had a burned out light bulb in the lamp by the bed and the light/exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. Also the a/c unit didn't get the room as cool as I like it. Was only for one night so I didn't much care. But, for what they're charging per night, extremely below par. If there's a hohum catergory for hotels...I'm checking that one.
