Victorian bed and breakfast decor - fun
Marty Oct 22, 2009
This motel was very charming with its victorian decor and antiques. The room was spacious and comfortably furnished. ... However, it is beginning to show some wear and tear, inside and out. All of the corners and edges need a good vacuuming. The quilted bedding look faded and worn from lots of washings. The bathroom floor does not fit the decor. It was advertised as a motel and spa, however the spa part is no longer operational. I was hoping for a massage and was told that I could get one just down the street, but it was very expensive. The motel staff was very pleasant and recommended a steak house that povided an excellent meal. The breakfast was the usual fare and adequate. The price was good and I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay for couples or family
CJ Aug 13, 2009
Hotel check in was nice /friendly / helpful even for the late night check-in. Provided a map of the area, suggested ... restaurants and entertainment. Rooms are cute with the antique furnishing. Walking distances to the shopping area & restaurants. Breakfast area was very clean and the continental breakfast had a very nice presentation. Cost was reasonable for the area. Check out did not go as smooth. To use their internet to print e-tickets/flight out, they charge $.25 per sheet - Only hotel that I've stayed out that charge a fee. The internet was down - no suggestions or help on where to go in town or offered any help at all. I had to go to another hotel, which allowed me to use their internet & print the e-tickets without a charge/fee.

I would give half the price
Mom from California Jul 29, 2009
The rooms are spacious, but other than that, it is quality of a 2 star motel and definitely not worth the money. Bathroom ... with moldy smell, pool and spa and exercise room are pitifully small and uninviting. Continental breakfast are of below average quality. They even try to impose a $15 charge when we checked out late for 30 minutes because we thought the checkout time was noon instead of 11. Got away not without much argument.

Skip the town of Jackson. Teton village is only 20 minutes away and a lot more fun and quality for the same money.

We enjoyed this quaint hotel that is located in the heart of Jackson Hole. The antique atmosphere was relaxing and added to ... the Jackson Hole town of the past. Decor is real antiques with Grandma like wallpaper, super clean, very friendly and breakfast included. We loved the lap pool, ... spa and sauna. It is near the square and the action, yet still quiet and homey. This inn is as good as any famous B&B we have ever enjoyed, with the quiet not available at most B&B's.

We loved the Blue Lion for dinner that many locals recommended, (don't miss the crab, artichoke, cheese stuffed mushrooms). The western atmosphere of the whole town and the art galleries are superb.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was average, no hot food. I didn't realize the door to my room opened to the outside...as a ... woman traveling alone, that concerned me. My wireless didn't work at this hotel because low signal/bad connectivity. They just told me it was because of my computer...which was interesting considering I had stayed at hotels immediately prior to this stay and then immediately after and had NO problem with the wireless connection.
