Victorian country inn in downtown Jackson, Wyoming

Turn-of-the-century America is recalled at Parkway Inn & Spa, an aspen and pine tree shrouded hotel in the heart of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This mid-size two-story property has been individually owned for 30+ years, and transitions from a quaint lodge in winter to postcard-perfect and park-like in summer. Stay here for an old-fashioned country inn experience with the Grand Tetons as a backdrop and moose and elk as neighbors. Downtown Jackson is steps away.

Highlights
  • Indoor lap pool and two large hot tubs
  • Complimentary breakfast, afternoon cookies, cider and lemonade in antique fireplace lobby
  • On town shuttle route
  • Free parking
Rooms

Each of the 49 rooms and suites at Parkway Inn & Spa has been artfully decorated with turn-of-the-century American antiques, patchwork quilts, ornate wallpaper and furniture in brass and wood. Features include 1 or 2 queen beds, wireless Internet access (fees apply) and large TVs. Bathrooms offer hair-dryers, robes and bath products by Lord & Mayfair. Eight suites, plus four more in a cottage, are available. Some offer private sundecks, old-fashioned rocking chairs and fireplaces.

Features

Grab a book from the shelf and a cup of hot coffee and settle into a wingback chair in the antique-filled Parkway Inn & Spa fireside lobby. This bed-and-breakfast serves a sizable spread of granola, muffins, juices and more. Return for refreshments and board games in the afternoon. For evening meals find a dozen restaurants within four blocks. This hotel has a large indoor lap pool, two hot tubs, a mid-size fitness center and sauna.

Parkway Inn & Spa - Jackson, WY

Rooms were very comfortable, but they kept the heat too high! Breakfast was limited, but ok. We didn't use the spa facilities at all - too busy visiting the area outside. Overall a good place to stay for the price. I'd come back!

Parkway Inn - Jackson, WY

Good value. Large comfortable room, friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was okay but would like to have had hot scrambled eggs rather than cold hard boiled ones. Also, there was no skim milk. The workout room was well equipped, but they would not allow you in there until after 8 am because it was located below guest rooms.

Welcome change

The Parkway feels like a combination hotel/bed and breakfast because of the warmth of the facility and the attention of the staff. The rooms are very large, the furnishings extremely attractive and the beds very soft. And it's very quiet. When I went to the desk with a sinus headache late one evening, the staff member commiserated and immediately prepared a pot of hot tea for me. We've stayed at a number of places in Jackson, but will be staying at the Parkway from now on. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Mexican food at El Abuelita and phenomenal pizza at Snake River Brewing Co. Highly recommend both.

Cozy, very cute, comfortable inn.

Cozy, comfortable room in a great location for walking around downtown Jackson! We had a wonderful second floor room with a separate sitting area which was great. There was also a small balcony. Beautiful flowers everywhere, great staff and good continental breakfast. We'll definitely stay here again!

Pretty motel, good location

We only stayed 2 nights at the motel and were out exploring the Grand Tetons most of the time so we were not able to take advantage of all it had to offer. Our room was very attractive with 2 queen beds, reminding us more of a bed and breakfast than a regular motel room. We were greeted with cookies and lemonade in the lobby when we arrived. There was a small table and 2 chairs outside our ground floor room so we could sit in shade and enjoy the magnificent view of the Tetons. Breakfast was very basic, but it was fine for our first morning. The hrs., however, are very limited - 7:00 to 9:30. Our second morning we had to fly our early so we had to leave the motel by 6:30 am. I figured we would not have access to breakfast, but when we arrived to drop off our key cards, breakfast was all laid out. So I tried to take a banana and a pastry to eat at the airport. There was one girl to check you out plus have all breakfast items set out for the guests. (This was a Sat. morning.) The girl got all upset when I attempted to take a breakfast item. She just kept saying, "Not til 7:00 o'clock!" We have stayed many other places, and most of them understand leaving early for a flight. If the food was ready, I have never been told I couldn't have any until the official hrs. That was the only blemish on an otherwise pleasant stay.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Staying in Jackson, WY was a very good choice when visiting the Grand Tetons. It is very close. Yellowstone is further away - I would not have wanted to drive all the way to Yellowstone each day. That is why we stayed in the park for the first days of our trip.

This hotel is a pig with lipstick!

Yes nice bedding and bath tiles but...only views are of the parking lot or road. Walls are so thin you hear TV's and whatever is going in the next room. Breakfast..CANNED fruit and grocery store baked good. The breakfast room is so small we gave up eating there after the first day bring breakfast back to a room with no table. The pool can only be enter from outdoors and with only 3 towels in our room we ended up returning after our first trip dripping wet to our room...no towels available at the pool. Jackson was great and we enjoyed the Grand Tetons but any chain hotel would have been better than this.

Great location, great service

Wonderful location within an easy stroll to the Town Square. Room was nicely appointed with good linen, extra pillows and plenty of light. Hotel has a homey feel and front desk staff was very helpful with directions and coupons.
