The hotel was in a great location. Just down the street was Bubba's barbaque, very good. Three short blocks away is Snake River Brewery, great beer and food. The highlight of trip was snowmobileing in Yellowstone and comming back to the cabin and finding a moose standing in front of the cabin.

Cozy Cabin
Good location near town square center and Grand Teton National Park; cabin was small especially the bathroom, but well maintained; queen-sized bed was lumpy and a bit hard with tiny (smaller than standard size) pillows.

Absolutely Awesome!
While we were in Jackson Hole we went to Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone, and all areas in between. We walked to the Town Square, shopped, enjoyed delicious food. Beautiful vacation and we will be going back very soon. It was especially nice tocome back to a cozy, clean, and comfortable cabin. We loved it and stayed an extra night.

Try it you'll like it
I highly recommend The Cowboy Village, you can't beat the location. Your just a short walk from fine dining, shopping and beer, what more could you ask for. I give the cleaning crew a 5 star, every day we would come back to an immaculate room. If you are planning on cooking most of the time this is not the place for you. Since there is only a two burner stovetop, small sink and little fridge. Quite honestly that would be the only downside, so go ahead and give them a try and enjoy your stay in Jackson Hole.

Quaint and authentic--not a "hotel"
Cowboy Village offers an authentic Jackson cabin experience, but if you're looking for a log cabin look with a traditional hotel feel, it will miss the mark. The small size of the cabins is a detriment; however, if you're more active outside of the cabins in town and parks, etc., then it's an OK place to stay. Staff are professional (if not a little too reserved), housekeeping friendly, and the location is great for staying in town--very walkable.

Jackson Hole Trip
There were four women in our room. we are all co-workers and decide to take a few days off and go on a mini vacation to Jackson. We took a day and went to Old Faithful in Yellowstone. We also went to Teton National Park. Overall we had a great time. Everything was BEAUTIFUL with the fresh new snow.

In need of an update
We stayed in Jackson Hole 2 nights to drive the scenic route near the Tetons. We also enjoyed the town itself, nice shops and restaurants. We could easily walk from our cabin to town and did several times during our stay. The carpet definitely needed replaced in our cabin as well as some of the furnishings. The TV was so small we could not read scores etc. from the couch. The individual cabin is great but there are others in town which are newer and perhaps a little bigger.
