Our first time at Wingate was a pleasent experience
We looked at 4 other hotels before coming here The price for quoted at the desk was fair for the area and for the quality but still more than we were planing on. The staff at the desk said he didn't want to loose our business and that we could get it cheeper on line so we checked out several lites and found it on $20 less a night. The room was nicer than any other we had seen. The Pillows were fatter than what I was used to so the second night the staff found me better ones. They had a hot breakfast, it would have been great but we are vegetarian so had to settle for oatmeal and waffles, still not bad. We have put this on our preferred places to stay for price and comfort.

Connecticut Yankee
A step down from earlier hotel
Check-in was quick and easy; however, the next morning, I discovered a $5 charge on my credit card. When I asked about it, they told me it is a charge for authorizing use of the credit card but that it would be dropped in a couple days, which it has been. Wireless internet is unsecured so I chose wired. Getting online was not explained fully and therefore, I had problems. Once on, it was OK. Bed was an interspring but I did sleep comfortably. When I went to the complimentary breakfast the first morning, there was hardly anything left. Only plus was real coffee (Folgers)! Burned the first piece of toast so had to redo. I didn't bother the second morning; had breakfast with my brother instead. If you want to just sleep and move on, it was OK, but it was next to the Interstate. If you want more comfort, I would go elsewhere.

Business Trip
From the time I opened the front door, I was amazed. The front loby was very nice. The staff was very friendly, fast check in, it had a great clean smell. The room was great, large, very clean. I spent 3 nights. The room was very quite, nice TV, bed was great. From now on when I go to Gillette on buniness or pleasure this is where I will stay. Great price, great location, excellent staff. I give them a 10+

GOOD ROOMS
THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND BIG AND WE REALLY ENJOYED THE KING SIZE COMFORTABLE BED.
