Family fun abounds at Gillette hotel
Located just off of Highway 59 and Interstate 90, the Country Inn and Suites by Carlson in Gillette is also convenient to the airport. Very nice!
The location is a little industrial but that's ok. Not much from the outside but very nice inside! Very nicely decorated for the holidays. The front desk person wasn't friendly and didn't even greet us but other staff said hello later on. The room was nice and clean, comfy bed, lots of pillows, clean, roomy bathroom. Breakfast was great! Lots of fresh choices. Will stay there again.

I was very disapointed. We booked this hotel specifically because of the pool and spa. We needed a relaxing getaway. When I check into our hotel, I'm unpleased to find out that the use of the pool is an extra fee. What? Why in no where on the [...] booking area was this noted? It also said on the [...] that this hotel had a restaurant, which it did not. So our relaxing getaway turned into, a disappointing stay. We don't get to spend much time together and this was a waste for us. Then to top it off in the morning I receive a receipt from the hotel staff, saying it would have only cost me $69.99 for that hotel for one night, [...] charged me $97.00. I was informed by the front desk I shouldn't have received that receipt. [...]

no pool, or hot tub included in this hot
THis was a really pretty, clean , hotel. The service was great, the staff very friendly, but they do not have a pool or hot tub as advertised. If you want to swim you have to pay an additional 8 bucks per person to have access to the hot tub or pool.

Fancy Waterpark requires extra fee
The hotel was a newly constructed facility that was very nice. However, the hotel required an extra fee of $5 per child to use the waterpark attached to the hotel. This is the first time we've ever been charged to use a hotel's pool. The continental breakfast was good. We did have a little problem with some very tiny bugs in the bathtub and sink in the bathroom. My biggest disappointment was the fact that Orbitz charged me $30 more than the hotel would have had I reserved the hotel directly with Country Inns and Suites.
