The Motel was okay, we had to attend a memorial service for a friend in Hulett WY and because of Sturges week we had to stay in Gillette so while we were there the roo m as fine.

A great stay
This is a basic motel that is intended mostly for stopovers. However, we stayed three nights, and used it is a launch-point for Mount Rushmore, and we were very satisfied. The staff were exceptional, ready to help at any time in any way that they could; for example, we needed to delay our stay by one day, and there was simply no problem in making that change. The room was small and basic, but clean with a faultless range of amenities; good cable channels, free wifi, fridge, microwave, tub and shower. While we have been a little surprised at how much more expensive motels are getting as we travel northward, this one was relatively economical.

It is a two-hour drive to Mount Rushmore, but this was an economical way for us to see it (given our route traveling elsewhere).

Not Good
Not happy with this motel - would not return. No cups or glasses for a drink. No coffeepot except in office. No stopper in bathroom sink. No ice bucket. Breakfast not served until 7:00 and no place to sit down for breakfast. Toilet would not shut off unless you pulled up the handle. The alarm clock could not be plugged in at bedside table - connection was somewhere behind middle of beds.
