Touring Yellowstone area

After a long day of driving the Beartooth and Chief Joseph Scenic Highways this hotel was a welcome stop. We didn't use anything but the room and free breakfast. This hotel at least had something other than paper or plastic to eat on or with - something I was surprised to find out was not the norm around Yellowstone. Hotel is relatively close to the Cody Museum of the West - a must see if you are in the area.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Make reservations at The Proud Cut Saloon if you expect to get in. Otherwise hostess there uses her discretion as to whom she seats and when.

One night stay

Nice hotel with a small but functional gym, nice hot tub and sauna; rooms were large and comfortable. Only downside is that it's a drive from downtown Cody where restaurants and stuff are; other than that, a great place to stay.

Great getaway

Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms and beds. Our room/bathroom was spotless and remained so despite our messes from hiking and rafting. Breakfast decent, nothing special to write home about but at times they ran short of coffee cups and coffee - a second person to help out in the morning would have made this even better. Loved the pool/spa/sauna, very relaxing

Business Travelers

This hotel is wonderful. Our only complaint is that there were very few healthy options for breakfast. The pool and workout facilities are great, and the rooms are very well organized and comfortable.

Working in Cody

This hotel was great except for the lack of fruit and other low calorie options for breakfast.

Very nice hotel

We just couldn't believe there is such nice hotel in Cody. The room is roomy and very clean. I can tell the room setting was designed for the traveler and very convenient for the traveler. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is just OK.

The Cody Is The Place To Be

The Cody is a great place to stay. The hotel's proximity to local events and attractions makes it a perfect place to park your stuff while exploring the town of Cody and the surrounding area. Being pet friendly was a plus for us too (Duke loved it!) We would definitely stay at The Cody again and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Of course, you must eat at The Irma Hotel when in Cody. After that, check out MoJoe's for breakfast and/or lunch. We liked MoJoe's so much we went back again and again.

The Cody

Mid level hotel but I had expected the rooms to be of a higher quality. The room was small and other than the bedding, which was nice, equal to a lower priced economy hotel chain.

Not worth the price

[...] they tried to place us in an undesirable room location with a view of a nieghboring metal building. Room was noisy since you couldn't run the fan continuously. Balconies were not private."Green" construction is overrated unless you prefer dark hallways. Overall- too much money for a nice lobby and a trumped up image.

Nice, comfortable stay

Very close to the Cody Nite Rodeo. Good, friendly front-desk service. Very comfortable king-sized bed. Clean room. Breakfast was cold, unappealing, no fruit. Wish the room had been $10 cheaper and no breakfast offered!
