The Sunrise Motor Inn is adjacent to one of the most popular attractions in Cody -- the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. Sunrise Motor Inn in Cody
While clean enough, the room and motel very much need updating. Cody is expensive because of its nearness to the park, but $100 for this room was extremely over-priced!! The bed was horribly uncomfortable & had only 2 very flat pillows. Chairs had slip covers on them that were stained. Was quiet enough due to location of room away from street.

Overpriced Motel
overpriced motel, with very small rooms. Cody is an expensive location, because it is the gateway to the yellowstone national park. 50 usd for this room is ok, but not 100 usd.

Very disappointing
This hotel was not quite as clean as it could have been. Also we had to take the back off the toilet to fix it every time we flushed it. The bed was nice and comfortable. However, we could hear our neighbors arguing. It was WAY over-priced.

If you are going to Yellowstone for a couple of days, make reservations in West Yellowstone instead of Cody.

Stay away
It smelled was very tiny, not enough room for two people to stay in, even overnight. Rude staff could hardly understand their broken English. Had to forfeit money to stay elsewhere. I am not that fussy but I would not sleep in that musty old bed, would have slept in the car first.

It Served the Purpose
When I pulled into the parking lot, I thought that I may have to change my reservation because the place looked "beat up." But I said, "don't judge a book by its cover." So, I went to check in. The staff was business-like, not friendly at all--distant. When I got to the room, I was surprised how clean the room was. The only problem I had was with the carpet. It was old, beaten up, and its cleanness was questionable. The room was small but it had a TV and FREE Internet access, a clean bathroom, and a clean bed which are my essentials. I bring my own towels and sheets, soap, and alarm clock anyway. So, it served the purpose.

clean and close to the main street
We had an online reservation and the check-in was no problem. What we were missing was the friendly smile on the owners' faces. Up to then, people everywhere seemed to care about their guests and gave them a warm welcome, whereas in this place there was a certain lack of feelings and interest. But the staff who was looking after breakfast and doing the check-outs was nice. The room was clean and simple and for one night it was o.k. after all.

YNP Vacation
A Positive Surprise
When we checked in, we upgraded our room to one with three queen beds for only $10 - - This was PERFECT!!!! Our room was right by the pool (small but nice) and very convenient to a variety of attractions in Cody. Room was clean and staff was very helpful.

Definitely recommend going on the Buffalo Bill trolley ride first thing - - takes you all around town and gives you insight of things might want to do and where they are located.
