Clean and Comfortable
Yellowstone Bound Aug 9, 2009
We stayed here on our way out to Yellowstone and the Tetons. The hotel was very clean and comfortable though maybe not quite ... as nice as most Holiday Inns (the building seemed a little dated). The staff was very nice, especially in the restaurant. It served our purposes perfectly.

We arrived at 11:30am and no rooms were available because they still needed to be cleaned. I told them my wife is pregnant ... and they had a room ready in one hour, it made my trip and hers.

smoking or not
wiley Jun 13, 2009
Reserved and had a confirmed non-smoking room but was told at the check-in desk it was the online check-in that caused us to ... get a smoking room to match our pre-paid reservation. Maids were pounding on the room door 3 times before 8:30. They did comp the breakfast because we had already paid.

Good Location
William Aug 6, 2007
The Holiday Inn of Cody, WY was located on the main road into town and also the main road into Yellowstone. The room was ... pretty small without adequate space for clothes to be hung or stored, not enough cabinets. It did have a table and two chairs which were totally unneeded and a waste of space that could have been better used.

The IRMA, which is a hotel, resturant and bar founded by Buffalo Bill Cody is a few blocks away. Great food and 6 PM gunfights. Serves all three meals. The bar is restricted to 21 and over but the resturant is open to all. You might recognize the long carved bar in the resturant from the Vacation movie.

My review of Holiday Inn CODY-AT BUFFALO BILL VILLAGE
Donna Jul 9, 2007
We knew we were going to have double beds butwon't do this again. Too small for 4 people we found. Had trouble getting enough ... towels - we got 3 and needed 4. Staff had trouble understanding since many did not speak English. We had trouble with the plumbing at first but the maintenance men came immediately and were very pleasant. Also came to work on the TV very quickly. Wish they would have had a small continental breakfast instead of just coffee. Wanted us to go to the attached restaurant so we bought some breakfast stuff and ate in the room. Oh, yes, really missed the fan in the bathroom. Pretty bare bones room actually but since we decided on the spur of the moment to go to the Buffalo Bill Museum guess we were lucky to have a room at all. People in the Village store next door had fruit and finger food at 5 P.M. Very nice.

FAMILY FRINEDLY
WILLIAM Apr 16, 2007
The Holiday Inn at Cody, Wyoming was very accomodating to our family. It was evident that thought was given to making the ... hotel user friendly to families as indicated in the large comfortable room, attentive staff, and fine restaurant on-site. The location made for easy and simple access to the area attractions.

The Buffalo Bill Cody Western Museum in town and less than an hours drive to Yellowstone National Park were both convenient to the hotel.
