It is what it is
Small rooms, but that's what we expected. It would have been nice to have a small table and fridge in the room. Inexpensive, so that was nice.

The hotel was very clean, has a safe for valuables, a coffee maker, and a massage shower head. The hotel is about a mile from any place to eat. I heard a couple trains but none during the night which was nice. It was quite in the hotel but the bed wasn't very comfortable. It's good value for the money, I expected much less for the price.

Most of the fast food places are all on the west edge of town and the hotel is on the east edge. The speed limit is 20 so it felt like it was a long ways away.

Cheyenne adventure
Loved the city. Took a guided trolley ride and then went back to Frontier Museum and State capital building to explore further.

Is this a train station?
Bad from the start. The hotel employees were out front having a smoke break when we arrived to check into the hotel. The hotel is located next to railroad tracks. I am a heavy sleeper and usually don't wake up for anything, but it was one train after another all night long. Between the trains and the loud people chasing snakes outside we didn't get much sleep. Took a shower in the morning and the water was brown. Breakfast was nothing to write home about either. Stayed at a different Super 8 on the way home and it was a totally different experience than the Cheyenne hotel. This is the worst hotel that I have stayed at in a long time. Stay somewhere else.

There were many restaurants listed as being "nearby" in the hotel information on the website. We wanted to eat at Texas Roadhouse and had to drive all the way across town near the mall. Stay at a different hotel.

Decent, not the best
The walls were very thin... easy to hear others in the halls. I woke up several times in the early morning b/c of that.

Up from Denver
A great Cheyenne Value!
We drove to Cheyenne to visit family that was traveling across the country in their RV. The room was just for sleeping, since we spent our time exploring and visiting in town. The room is not intended for entertaining, but for getting a good night's rest; and for that, this was just what we needed without busting the budget. Super 8 always does this well.
