Ramada Plaza Riverside- Casper Wyoming

Average at Best. Hotel is old with some updating done. Location is in an area where there isn't alot going on. The two resturants next door have both closed and are vacant. Seems like an area that is past its day. Had to drive to the other end of town where the newer construction and restuarants are to eat/shop. They do have their own resturant in the hotel but I didn't eat there except for the continental breakfast which was average. The decor and over all appearance of the hotel would best be described as 'tired'. I would look for a different hotel in a better area if I were to visit again.

I booked the room in December, specifying that I wanted a non-smoking room. When I checked in they put me in a smoking room. I called to see if they could switch it and was told they could do nothing since I had booked through a 3rd party. The pool was broke for awhile when we were there, and once again "since I booked through a 3rd party," there was no discount or anything they could do for me. Eventually they did find me a non-smoking room, but I wasn't very impressed with their customer service or they fact that they could do nothing for me since I had gone through a 3rd party. Also, the room keys didn't always work right, you had to scan them a few times before the door would open. The hallways smelled terrible. You could hardly stand to walk down the hallway. In the future I will not be using a 3rd party to book rooms simply because the hotels won't work with you or help you out by doing so. Also, I don't plan to ever stay at this hotel again due to the lack of customer service and the gross smell!

every thing was going well that day then we had a 1 hour wait to get our room having to settle for 1 king size bed because our 2 bed room was not available yet

We had a room next to an entrance and stairs and was awakened many time thru the night because of the noise in the hall. Drop ceiling in the bath room was falling down.

The hotel staff, starting with the front desk staff to the people in the restaurant, everyone was friendly and helpful. I was there for a sad occasion but the friendliness of the hotel staff made it a very nice stay. The room was comfy and clean. The hotel shows it's age but everything was very nice. Thanks

The hotel is very nice and easy to find. It is right by the freeway for easy access. It is right by the Platt River. It was quiet and comfortable. There was plenty of parking. The staff was very nice and helpful.

I traveled to Casper to visit my boyfriend and attend baseball games of the Casper Ghosts. The hotel was a perfect location for the reason I went, I was able to leave the hotel and walk on to the field. The staff at the front desk was very polite and helpful with any questions I had. I thought the airport shuttle service was a great addition as well. As for the look of the hotel and the rooms, it's very outdated and could use renovating and updating for the beds and rooms themselves. I was extremely disappointed with the room service. I spent 7 nights in this hotel and my room had only been cleaned once. Being on vacation I choose to sleep in a little later and relax and if you prefer the same this hotel is not for you. Housekeeping knocked on the door every morning between 8:30 AM-9:30 AM. I assumed they would come back in the afternoon but never did. I was also disappointed with the continental breakfast. When it's gone, it's gone. So get there early.
